Same problem here. I contacted my host and they looked for that. They said it seems to be a script error, because everything is fine and no limits were exceeded.
I can’t resize the thumbnails because it stops after about 30 pics and after that the website is in the backend is not avaiable till I delete the cookie.
That started after the update to the newest ngg 2.1.23
