In reply to: [WPComplete] Nesting in WPC?Hi Zack.
Thank you so much for updating this thread. It came just in time, as my course launches on Monday. I bought the pro version, installed, and after only about 20 minutes of fiddling, I can tell you that it’s perfect! You guys are da bomb! I am a VERY satisfied customer.
cheers, d.

In reply to: [WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] HTTPS getting stripped from video embed linksHi Tuzz:
Wistia WAS generating https thumbnails for all videos, and this plugin broke that by always stripping out the HTTPS and replacing with HTTP, and the link therefore didn’t work.
HOWEVER: Wistia no longer secures thumbnail images when creating embeds. It has since changed all thumbnails for new embeds to HTTP. I now have no problem. I know this could be a royal PITA depending on how many videos you have up currently, but a possibly easy fix would be to simply create and paste new embed code.

In reply to: [WordPress HTTPS (SSL)] HTTPS getting stripped from video embed linksHey Mike, unlike some on this forum, I don’t expect you to endlessly support this plugin with zero compensation.
The above issue really has got me by the short ones, and I need to resolve it as soon as possible. I’m prepared to donate whatever you feel appropriate (or happily purchase a “pro” version) if you can help me out.
cheers, Daniel

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Header and Data widths differentI did so, but then it doesn’t appear to take into account the custom widths I specify in the Custom CSS under Frontend Options:
.tablepress-id-1 .column-1 {
width: 200px;
}.tablepress-id-1 .column-10 {
width: 400px;
}.tablepress-id-1 .column-11 {
width: 500px;
}Thoughts?
thanks, Daniel
p.s. thank you for the rapidfire response!

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] Current version of CVG broken inside bbPress forumBump. Any thoughts on this, Praveen? Right now, the footer of my forum is displaying nothing but error code…
Lamentably, I’m on a deadline crunch and don’t currently have time to mess with this. I’ll circle back in six weeks or so.

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Image slider also brokenActually, since I switched back to 1.4, they’re working fine again.
When I upgraded to 1.5, here are the three things I noticed:
1. It broke the Updates page in the Admin panel (not a dealbreaker).
2. It broke my theme’s homepage slider. The slides were all appearing at once instead of moving from slide to slide.
3. Popup videos stopped working. When I clicked a link, it tried to access the underlying media file directly. No Fancybox, no player, no nothing.cheers, Daniel

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Image slider also brokenI couldn’t wait. I reinstalled 1.4 from the Developer page. As much as I’m hankering for HTML5 support, I can’t afford to have my web videos broken right now. But I’ll be monitoring this page, and will consider reinstalling after a few of the more onerous issues are ironed out.

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] breaks update-core.php??The above poster is correct. It happens for me as well. This refers to the Updates page (part of the Dashboard panel).

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Add video to sidebar widgetDon’t put the shortcode into a widget. Put it in a page or post.
Then use a widget that can display a particular page or post in the sidebar.

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] Add video to sidebar widgetI circumvented this by putting the video alone in a post, and then using a sidebar widget to display that post. Perhaps that would work for you…

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] videojs, ogv, html5 ?I’m confused. I already upload mp4s exclusively, which CVG can apparently handle just fine without additional code.
BUT… How are you getting them to display on an iOS device? My iPad refuses to show my CVG videos, stating that Flash Player is needed. I have installed the latest version of JW Player (which is HTML5 capable) into the appropriate directory of my CVG folder. What else needs to be done?
cheers, d.

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] videojs, ogv, html5 ?Yes, that would definitely be helpful. Do you plan on posting the code?
Of course, it would be extra super helpful if HTML5 capabilities were built into the add-in. Praveen?
cheers, d.

In reply to: [Cool Video Gallery] [Plugin: Cool Video Gallery] videojs, ogv, html5 ?Hi Praveen:
I have a licensed copy of JW Player that I’m using with your excellent plugin.
I manually uploaded the files of my licensed build to the appropriate folder in your plugin’s directory, so that the JW Player watermark no longer appears. So far so good.
But I’m having problems accessing the videos on an iOS device. v5.7 of JW Player does have HTML5 support, but the plugin doesn’t appear to activate it. I followed the link above, but I’m afraid I’m not savvy enough to implement it.
Will your plugin soon be able to take advantage of JW Player’s augmented HTML5 functionality?
thanks, Daniel
