Unfortunately I had to remove the widget! the entire blog in the landing page stopped working. I was not able to click in the links in the posts titles and the thumbnails.

I can see in your screenshot that the footer takes the whole width of the page. So not sure why you say it is not. On top of it you can see how the blog area is boxed at 1200 px. The footer used to be boxed at 1200 px just like the rest of the blog.

I created the widget again so I could make a screenshot. If you go to the page you won’t see it because I had to remove it for the blog to work. Here is the screen shot:

In the screenshot you can see the two social media icons showing at the bottom of the blog. Any new widget I add to the sidebar shows there, if I added last after the textbox you show in the screenshot. Therefore, maybe it is the code you highlighted for me. That code is supposed to be just the link to an image so unfortunately I don’t see what is wrong with it. Can you tell me?

Hi Farzan, thank you for your comment but I’m not looking for a wide layout, which I’m already using in many pages. My question is about how to get my site to display in full site view in mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. Thx again

Jack, thank you for your comment. Visitors to my site have told me the mobile version is not very easy to navigate so until I figure how to make it better I rather try the full site version.

at least until now ??

I downloaded the new version 3.1.6 and a fourth content box appeared in my home page. So I repeated the instructions above, which as I said had worked perfectly with the three boxes in the former version, and ALL four boxes disappeared from the home page

Please help! the content boxes were very important for my site

Hi, thanks for the code, it does make the image smaller but the image is still framed within a huge border. How can I make it the size of the image? I would like my posts to show in one column with a small image on the left and then the excerpt showing beside it. After using this code I have a small image within a huge box that takes all the space and then the text shows below.
