dear kkrewson. can you use ftp to upload the VC 4.11.2 on your host?
if yes you shuold delete the last version of VC and upload the new version
and then active the new version and use it.

when you updated wordpress to version 4.5 and your visual composer stopped, you must update this plugin.
right now that i`m talking to you, the last version of this plugin is 4.11.2
you must update it and use it easily in wordpress 4.5
