In reply to: [Vantage] Password Reset page not workingHi Richard,
Thank you very much for the suggestion!
Was your issue that you couldn’t type in the ‘confirm new password’ field, or that you were getting the error when clicking on the password reset link in the email? (Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid. Please try again.)

In reply to: [Vantage] Password Reset page not workingThat’s okay, thank you for the continued help. The problem happens once the vantage theme is activated. The password reset works on the twenty fifteen theme with all plugins activated & de-activated.
Thanks!Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Vantage] Password Reset page not workingTo confirm, with all plugins de-activated, and a default theme (twenty fifteen) activated, the issue does not continue.

In reply to: [Vantage] Password Reset page not workingHi Misplon, thanks again for the suggestion. I changed the security keys/salts. No luck. I also deleted the activation key in the wp_users table via phpmyadmin. That allowed me to successfully use the password reset link from the email. But, now I’m still not able to fill in the ‘confirm password’ field. So kind of back to square 1. Not sure what else to try.
I’m happy to try any other suggestions you might have. Thanks again for your help so far.

In reply to: [Vantage] Password Reset page not workingOkay, I tried the password reset with Vantage active, and all plugins de-activated. Now I’m staying on the actual site (not being re-directed to the default wordpress password screen) when clicking ‘lost password’. I receive the email with the password reset link, and then am brought to the reset password screen, with an error message:
Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid. Please try again.
I am getting that everytime (tried 3 different password resets and email links).

Would a list of plugins help? Though the plugins are de-activated and I’m getting a completely different error than the original one (couldn’t confirm new password).
Any next steps? Thanks again for your help and quick responses!

In reply to: [Vantage] Password Reset page not workingHi Misplon,
Thank you for the suggestion.
I did as you said, and I was able to successfully reset my password. But it took me to the wordpress password reset screen. I then activated all of the plugins again, but kept 2015 theme active. It still worked.
I am thinking it’s the Vantage theme that is keeping me from resetting the password, since when the Vantage theme is active, I am taken to the password reset screen on a web page, and not to the wordpress password reset screen. Does that make sense? Any idea on how I can get the password reset to work with Vantage theme active?
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Open Graph] Description apostropheHi, I am having the same issue with ‘\’ showing up when I used an apostrophe, but the facebook debug tool doesn’t show it. It only shows live. Any help?

In reply to: [WP Open Graph] Description apostropheHi Martian73, I am also having the same issue. What is the fix? It looks like the same character?
Hi Postman, I have not yet. I looked into if the theme could be causing it, and haven’t found the answer yet. The host has not installed MU-plugins, that I am sure of. I am waiting to test the Postman SMTP plugin on a few different sites I am working with, to maybe catch a variable in the equation.
But I really appreciate your follow up! Awesome support! Thanks.Thank you!
Thank you for your quick response
Unfortunately no. All I have access to are the exim logs.
So basically you’re saying if S2 is generating the emails, then it’s a problem with my host?
I have contacted them again to see if they can look at the SMTP logs which I do not have access to.
Any insight as to why the restrict receipients causes an error when changed from 1 to any other number?
