In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie Banner not showing upHi Rogier,
thanks for the info about “consent per service” – much appreciated. I’ll take a look at that.
I have a quick question on another matter…
Is there a way to change the default placeholder text displayed on Youtube videos?
I’ve been looking through the settings, but haven’t found an option to change it. I’m probably just not looking in the wrong place!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Cookie Banner not showing upSolved it!
I disabled all plugins except for Complianz. The banner then showed up, so I knew it was some kind of plugin conflict.
I narrowed it down to Elementor Pro. The culprit turned out to be a script I was using to disable Elementor’s local storage ‘cookie'(https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/7151#issuecomment-518016137).
I deleted the script and the banner started working.
Thanks for your response @mediavine
I switched to using Grow Social a few days ago and can confirm that the share counts did indeed stay the same ??
Got it working!
In the settings for the field I changed the Format from ‘Standard’ to ‘DD/MM/YYYY’.
I’d previously only set the date format on the main settings page of Ninja Forms.
So it’s ‘fixed’ for my specific situation, but there are obviously still bugs that need fixing in 3.6.9 – such as Ninja Forms trying to validate a field that isn’t required.
I’m having the same issue. The date format I’m using is DD/MM/YYYY.
Seems like a long time to wait for a fix!
Guess I’ll have to downgrade to 3.6.7
Hi @tneville,
thanks for taking the time to respond.
That’s an interesting article – thanks for providing the link.
I realise email is never totally private and confidential, my aim is to reduce the risks of confidentially being compromised wherever possible. With that in mind, there are two reasons I don’t want email messages stored within WordPress:
– As the website developer, my client would prefer me not to have access to the emails
– There is always the risk of WordPress being hacked, which would leave the messages exposed (although I take all the steps I can to keep WordPress secure, hacking is always a risk). So if a feature could be introduced at some point in the future to prevent email messages being logged, that would be really useful (for me at least!).
For now I’ll switch off the email log.
I’ll mark this thread as resolved as you have answer my question which was, ‘Is it possible to stop full email message being stored in the email log?’ (currently the answer is no).
Many thanks,
DanThanks for the quick and informative response @spencerfinnell
That clears things up for me. I’m no longer confused!
I’ve already set up rCAPTCHA. I just wasn’t sure how (or if) it was working. Now I know ??

Ignore everything above! I found the problem – absolutely nothing to do with UpdraftPlus.
When looking through the plugins I found ‘WP Downgrade | Specific Core Version’ which is what I must have used to revert to WP 5.4.2 previously. I didn’t realise that the plugin downloads the version you specified each time you update WordPress – until you either update the version in the plugin settings, or disable the plugin.
I disabled the plugin and I’m now able to update to 5.6.1.
Feel a bit stupid, but I’m relieved it was nothing major!

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] Tested with WP 5.6?I’d like to know this too ??
Hi @tomucho
Just wondering how you fixed this in the end?
I’m having the same problem on one of my clients websites. In Google Search Console he’s seeing the following message for the sitemap generated by All in One SEO:
“URL is not available to Google”
“Excluded by ‘noindex’ tag”
No: ‘noindex’ detected in ‘X-Robots-Tag’ http headerThanks

In reply to: [3CX Free Live Chat, Calls & WhatsApp] Failed to load SourceMapThought I’d best chip in as the original poster.
I see there a few of you with SourceMap issues –?all relating to Divi Builder. Divi actually works fine for me.
My SourceMap error relates to WP Live Chat and a Bootstrap file it’s trying to load.
From what @chemaz has said, it’s sounds like it is fairly innocuous in my case. It doesn’t seem to be causing any problems for my site. I was really just interested to know if this was something to worry about – it seems not.
Hope you all manage to fix your Divi issues.
Hi @wysija,
I’ve worked out what happened. It turns out that my client had forwarded on an email to one of their clients. It seems that their email system adds the Sendgrid tracking code. So it’s nothing to do with Mailpoet, or WordPress!
So the issue is resolved ??
Hi @wysija, thanks for the quick response.
So that’s a bit confusing. We’re actually using the Mailpoet sending service.
We were testing out some SMTP plugins for use with Contact Form 7 around the time that this happened – but we weren’t using Sendgrid – unless one of the SMTP plugins we tested defaulted to Sendgrid initially? We never changed the sending settings in Mailpoet itself, but would it have been technically possible for an SMTP plugin to take control of how Mailpoet sends without us adjusting the Mailpoet settings?
Also, another question… not all the post notifications had the Sendgrid links, some were ok. I’m presuming for this to happen Mailpoet must render the emails in batches, or render the links as each email is sent. Is that the case? Just trying to understand how some of the emails had the Sendgrid tracking and some didn’t.
Thanks
