I found out that the probem was indeed not with your software but with the maintenance mode software.
The plug-in from WebFactory did not worked well in a mult-site environment.
So I used the plug-in from Lukas Juhas. Problem solved!

Thanks for reply @imagely ; I’ve tried it but did not help. But I found out that the individual galleries where linked to the page. So that seems to be in priority to the album linking to a page.
When I removed the linking to the page it worked.

The right URL should be:
siteurl/new-pagename/nggallery/name-album/name-gallery

But it points to:
siteurl/old-pagename/name-gallery

Hi @tobiasbg thanks for replying. It’s no trouble but it would be nice if it was doable. Would it be a possibility to alter the ColumnFilterWidgets php code to add a CSS class that with CSS code hides the table until the search is complete?

Sorry @ravanh , because the customer was in a hurry I’ve added these CSS code:

@media all and (max-width: 500px) and (min-width: 50px) {
    /* fancybox show arrows always */
    #fancybox-left span {
        left: 10px; 
    }
    #fancybox-right span {
        left: auto;
        right: 10px;
    }
}

What I mean with initial load is that the first time when loading the site and clicking on a gallery image, I don’t see the right arrow.
But when I click on the arrow right and see the second image the arrows are visible.

Clear?
When necessary I remove the CSS code for you.

Fantastic @msaari , that solved it! Indeed the “Use custom field content for building excerpts” on the Excerpts tab had to be checked.
