Plugin blocks content below-the-fold

    This is a really nice looking plugin, however, when I activated it on my site it prevented all below-the-fold content from loading.

    I deactivated all my other plugins to check for conflicts and got the same results.

    For reference I’musing WordPress 4.7.4 running X theme.

    Would be great if there was a solution to this.

    What content are you looking to keep and what are you wishing to age gate?

    The point is to block all the content unless the age test is passed

    I might not have explained correctly.

    The issue is that content is prevented from loading AFTER passing the age gate.

    Seems to work ok for me using X. Are you using any caching methods?

    I was using W3 total cache, but I currently have it disabled and still get the same issue.

    OK, I suspect it’s a layover from the caching as there shouldn’t be any reason for it to block content after that. Let me run some more tests with W3 total cache both enable/disabled but having run and I’ll see what I can find. I’d like to make it work with caching enabled, but that’s a little tricky.

    I deleted w3 altogether but still getting same issue. I’ve noticed that refreshing the page seems to fix it.

    What browser(s) are you experiencing the issues in?

    I’ve tested on Chrome, IE, Firefox and Safari and get the same issue on all of them.

    Can you update to 1.2.0 and see if you still get the problem. I was able to see the issue on IE, but it should be fixed in 1.2.0 – after entering age, it now uses sessions instead of just cookies

    Hi,

    1.4.0 now supports caching too if you’re still using the plugin.
