If you want to use custom order status, select Order Status Changed event and then use your custom order status in one the extra fields available in this event.

We are working on solving this issue. I emailed you yesterday directly, because you contacted us previously.

I’m sending you a plugin with a possible fix (on email). Could you deactivate and delete current ShopMagic plugin and install a new one, from the email.
