ShopMagic FREE does support custom order statuses (as well as custom placeholders, filters and events). It is clearly written in our documentation.

Would you please reconsider your rating? You can create a support thread if you have questions regarding this feature. Still – it is possible in free plugin version. I just double-checked it.

Could you please reference and help us resolve this issue?
I ask because the fact that visitors can’t see the fields is not the default situation, and it looks like some kind of bug/conflict.
All fields should be visible to users, regardless of their status.
