In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF?)] “category” taxonomy of “post”@helitonafonso hello
Sorry, I was in bed with the flu, it can’t be that, because I used the other plugin on another site, not this one, also, I already passed the test site to the original site, I did the test you say, but it still doesn’t work.
The other time the solution was to modify something, but it’s been so long that I don’t remember, and I can’t find it, besides, it won’t work for me, because it was for the other plugin, I’ve searched the ACF documentation, but I can’t find anything.

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF?)] “category” taxonomy of “post”@helitonafonso yes for all the post types I created, before I used another plugin to create post types and if the connection with the taxonomies could be visualized. but in order not to have so many plugins doing the same thing, I stayed only with ACF.
- TV Shows
- Películas
- Músicas
- Libros
- Personas

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF?)] “category” taxonomy of “post”I’ve moved my site to https://melodramaz.com/category/peliculas/, the other site was a test site and I’m done, just missing this ACF issue. The one called “Listado de Películas” was made with a plugin for the “vertical” effect of the images, but the “archive” effect of the “GeneratePress” theme is “horizontal”.
I can’t see “archives” of “categories” by default of the “posts” with the “post types” I created.
It says
Nothing found.
Looks like we couldn’t find what you’re looking for. Maybe a quest can help you.TY

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF?)] “category” taxonomy of “post”When I created the “groups of fields”, I created a field called “type” that is, for the “categories” please see image, but I didn’t do anything else, that is.
In response to your question, I didn’t touch any ” file” of the “theme”.
This “archives_pelicula.php” the theme does when I created the “post type=peliculas”, I even use a plugin for themes and all the movies are shown, but if I click on “type” it shows nothing.
The connection I want to make is, for example, If I want to make a news article about a movie, I can use the “post” and put it in the movies category, so if I click on the “movies” category, it will show me “movies” and “post”, I hope you understand me hehe.

In reply to: [Advanced Custom Fields (ACF?)] “category” taxonomy of “post”Hola @helitonafonso creo que en espa?ol nos entendemos mejor, te lo dejare en los dos idiomas. / Hello @helitonafonso I think that in Spanish we understand each other better, I will leave it to you in both languages.

He creado cinco post types / I have created five post types:
- TV Shows
- Películas / Movies
- Libros / Books
- Músicas / Music
- Personas / Persons
So in the default WordPress post “post” we have the “category” and “post_tag” taxonomies. I’ve arranged for custom post types I created to be connected to these taxonomies, in addition to any other custom taxonomies I created, but when I try to view “archives” for “category” or “post_tag” it says I don’t have content.
Thank you,
Dalia
Hi @wplakeorg, YES is working!, the fields are taxonomies, and when I go to “Appearance” in ACF I choose “Multi Select” NOT “Checkbox”. sorry for the inconvenience. https://woo.melodramaz.com/libros/prueba/
Thank you so much!, now I’m trying to understand the ACF Cards hahaha.
@wplakeorg OMG now I understand what you say, in “Appearance” of “ACF” I have “Multi Select” , because in asian dramas and movies, you have multiple choices for example when they start the movie, we only have the native name, so we use the literal title, and when they going to released the movie we have the definitive title.
I started to review the ACF of a post type and that’s why I understood, sorry
Hi @wplakeorg, I am answering in the order of your questions.
a. Created an ACF Checkbox field?
The fields I used in the post type “Libros”:
- Image
- Text Area
- Text
- Taxonomy
- Number
- Date Picker
- URL (But just for backend)
b. Did you assign the Field in your View?
Yes, I did, you mean ACF Views right?, but I don’t have Checkbox fields, I have “Text” “Date” and “Taxonomy”, etc in this post type.
c. That the ‘CSS code’ below is pasted in the CSS code field of the View. (Not in the field options, it’s located all the way at the top of your View edit screen inside the “Advanced” tab)
Yes, I used the the tab “Advance”
d. Select or Fill the field on the page where you located the ACF Checkbox?
I don’t understand this part.
And last, Do you mean Customize>CSS in my Theme?, I did it, but it doesn’t work, I figured it must be because I don’t have “Checkbox”.
/* Uncomment this when it should apply globally .acf-view__row { display: flex; } */
If you want access to my site I can give it to you, it’s a test site, my other site has a premium theme.
Hello again @wplakeorg!
You don’t have to apologize, if it’s me that has to do it, I’m doing tests to see if my site works the way I want and then I’m going to buy the PRO versions of you and ACF. I have bought beautiful premium templates, but I can’t put things the way I want.
- The option of the same line is “resolved”
- The problem with the “,” remains the same, I can’t put it in “Identifier>Field Options”, I did a test with “-” it is recorded, but it doesn’t show it in the Frontend.
Good morning @wplakeorg and thanks for your reply:
I tried the CSS that you kindly provided me:
- Sadly didn’t work.
- I understand that the field value 865 is the ID “Shortcode details books” from my site and your plugin.
- What is the object id 730?
- The ACF field group ID is “Fields 15” “ID 673”
- In ACF Views “Field Options” I tried to put “,”, but when I saved it, it comes back and puts “Field”, I mean the name of the field and erased the “,”.
- I tried the CSS you provided me for “,” but it doesn’t work for me either.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with your plugin. I’m not an expert either, I’ve learned along the way “puyando” as we say around here.

In reply to: [Custom Content Shortcode] List of post_tag attached to a postHi @arnaudbroes
Since I installed your Plugin I always have the taxonomies “No”, because many of my taxonomies are just for use in the website (Only post_tag are “Yes”)
So Yes I SURE it was “No”, but when you updated the plugin all the taxonomies are “Yes”.
I lost SEO space in Google for “post type post” and was showing taxonomies, that’s the way I realized taxonomies was index.
The problem is resolved, because I changed the settings, I just let you know.
Thank you and best regards,
Dalia
