I used the Embed choice and copied the shortcode from “use a shortcode” and then put that in the link box of the page where I wanted it. I set the link to open in a new tab. I am guessing that the Embed shortcode doesn’t work that way? I would add a screenshot but not sure how to do that in this forum. Dave
I solved the problem, but I am not sure I understand if this is expected behavior or not. I had set up the link on the refering page using the URL link that WP Forms generated. I set it to open that link in a new tab. The solution was to create a new blank page, insert the table reference there and set the link to that page.
Forum: Localhost Installs
In reply to: Installing WordPress on MacI figured out the problems and thought I would report back. First problem was folder naming and location. I did not follow the locations correctly, so the WordPress folder was at the wrong level in the directory. Then when I did the WordPress install I kept getting a database location error. I finally realized that on the setup screen, the first line: Database Name had wordpress already showing and I could not change the text. I thought it was getting the database name from the prior setup step and it was now locked in. It turned out that it was gray text and was actually asking me to type in wordpress. Not sure why it showed that way by default, but I should have named the database something more clear and then I would have realized there was no database name already present. I am not sure why it says wordpress at that point, but it is confusing (to me).
