Same here, exactly 4 hours ahead – this “seemed” to happen about the time we upgraded the following:
WordPress 3.01
PHP 5.2
MySQL 5.0.91-communityJMF – did you happen to upgrade any of the following?
Sure would like to see this fixed – it’s an essential plug in for us. ??

In reply to: Post ExpiratorHad a chance to dive a little deeper into this today. It is working – however it’s ahead by 5 hours. Since our server, and thus our blogs and all server time/date settings, are set to utc -5 I’m thinking this has to be a time zone discrepancy. I tried to read a little on PHP 5.2 changes and I think that I read that the date/time was changed … but I don’t understand enough about PHP to really know what I was reading … :/
Anyone care to add any thoughts on this. This plugin was vital to our operation – I’m still a little disappointed that post expiration isn’t a standard WP function.
Thanks!

In reply to: Post ExpiratorNo one else noticing this? Anyone know how to reach the author- his blog is not accepting comments nor can I find any contact info.
Thanks!

In reply to: Pre loaded “Add New” templateThanks Michael.
However I’m not smart enough to do any TinyMCE programming at that level. I did find a solution.
Since my users nevered use the “more” button I simply reprogrammed the text that is inserted. Instead of
<!–more–>
being inserted it now inserts
Date:
Name:
Time:
Cost:
Address 1:
Address 2:
City, State, Zip:
URL:
Description:This is done by changing the text in these 2 files:
wp-includes/js/quicktags.dev.js
wp-includes/js/quicktags.jsThanks!

In reply to: Pre loaded “Add New” templateThanks – that plugin is way over my head. I have no idea where to even start with it.
Can you tell me what file to modify to change the text that is inserted into the empty edit textarea when you click the “More” button in the HTML tab of TinyMCE? If I can modify that text to be the [first post] template I need it may work.
Thanks

In reply to: Sorting by priority (Custom Fields) Pt. 2Cool – thanks! That seems to be working fine. ??

In reply to: Sorting by priority (Custom Fields) Pt. 2Scratch that – I think it’s working after all – I went back in and changed all the priorities to use the 3 digits and it now appears to be working. Thanks!!!

In reply to: Sorting by priority (Custom Fields) Pt. 2Hi ambrosite,
That did not appear to make any difference actually.
I took a story I wanted to be first and used “101” – it did show up first. I then changed the priority to “110” (to simulate “10”) and it still remained on top of the other stories with smaller priority numbers. Did I misunderstand your suggestion?
Thanks!

In reply to: WP as CMS – protecting blog rootNow this is weird – but when I go to Settings > Reading and set the “Front page displays” to a static page it kills the <!–more–> feature. Why would that be?

In reply to: Sorting by priority (Custom Fields) Pt. 2Hi vtxyzzy,
Thank you for that. But it’s way over my head and it appears to be doing much more than I need. I already have the orderby set up – I just need it to recognize double digits. Is that what all of that above is doing?
thanks again

In reply to: WP as CMS – protecting blog rootAh – you know I had forgotten about that. I will check that out. May be able to use either a redirect or template in the page.php.
Thanks for that info!
