Wow I finally get into wordpress and I’m having issues downloading pictures. How bizarre is that. Is there no support from WordPress

This issue is very popular. It happened to me and i’m stuck. One of the most simple things in any program and its an issue in one of the biggest programs on the web. Where is WordPress support. They should be all over this.

The permalink setting is https://localhost:8888/wordpressinht/?p=123
which is the defult.

When I try to load a .jpg in this is what i get.
Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2014/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

found it but it was already default.

Where is default permalink? Please.
