Hi Folks,
Just to let you know that we are also experiencing this problem with over 80 websites running both Elementor and Rank Math. Hope you can get it resolved soon.
Thanks, Dave
Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I will forward on your response to the server admins at SiteGround where the majority of these problems are taking place. I appreciate this is not a common problem as there is very little discussion about it online which is making troubleshooting difficult.
I have not experienced any warnings or errors until now. Siteground have advised me to replace WordFence with their own ‘SG security’ plugin. The .tmp files are not being stored in the WordFence directory, instead they are being saved in a hidden root directory which I can only access via secure shell.
Fortunately I will still be running WordFence on the majority of our other websites. Thanks again for the fantastic service WordFence provides.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce & Divi UI Problem since updating WorPress to 5.5Thanks wpnomad – agree staging is best practice but WordPress is an affordable tool for small businesses, the business owner’s husband was the one being directed by Divi support to make critical changes to the website. To be honest I can’t believe the Divi staff would recommend something so reckless without ensuring there is a backup. Luckily I had taken one earlier that day.
We got the site working again and between Divi Support, the hosting company’s technicians, rolling WordPress back to 5.4 etc. we managed to get it working correctly again. It seemed to have something to do with an image asset which was being requested from a third party server.
Thank you very much for your interest and suggestions, much appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce & Divi UI Problem since updating WorPress to 5.5Thanks for your reply wpnomad. Rather than the site loading slowly, there is a burst of content and then a freeze/pause, like something is waiting to be loaded, which ultimately times out and then everything else is delivered. When I deactivated WooCommerce and reactivated, the problem was solved, but links to products categories etc. then returned a broken link.
Unfortunately since I spoke, my friends have spoke to Divi theme support, their technician asked them to change woocommerce store permalinks, move files on the server etc. unfortunately the site is now broken. I’m restoring the backup now and will look into answering your suggestions.
Many thanks,
Dave
I’m also experiencing the same problem, weirdly on isolated pages which are duplicated templates. I’m hearing the audio on my Google Pixel 2 running Chrome 76. This page in particular seems to be the worst offender: https://bubble-footie.mmandb-staging.co.uk/bubble-football/. If I remove the fallback image then the problem with the audio playing is resolved but
Having the background video is a big deal to the client, looking forward to Elementor supporting the display of the videos on mobile devices – looks like there are custom workarounds.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] AwfulHi Ian,
The final straw which led to this rather frustrated comment was using the columns block to simply display 2 images side by, repeated for a few rows. The editor interface was all over the place, tool bars displaying way out of position and various functions overlapping each other. I had to keep updating the page just to reset and fix the layout. Using the single image block within these columns, when I viewed the front end the images were tiny and out of position. It was not intuitive to manage even this simple layout. Perhaps there were conflicts with the theme, but after an hour I gave up and added Elementor.
Thanks for your reply Ian and all the best,

In reply to: [Fukasawa] Changing labels of Older/Newer posts navigationHi Anders,
You’re a top man, many thanks. Your work is making a positive impact to our local community, both this theme for the Art Trail, an award winning, volunteer-driven community event. I’ve also used Lovecraft for a community action group, raising awareness about the selling of public land to become a housing development which has now been stopped in the wake of massive community objection.
Thank you for the reply and heads up about the plugin, I will give it a try.
All the best,
David

Thanks Rupok,
Sorry for the bad review initially, just got so frustrated with not having any sort of acknowledgement to the premium support tickets I sent, especially with paying for Premium. I will continue to use the chat to help resolve my problems.
David
Hi Rupok,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The link in the plugin settings page for help is ‘https://wpdeveloper.net/’ – there is a link for support which is the link I have listed. Every time I have visited your site the chat has been offline, but today I see it is active. I will commence a chat support shortly.
Thanks,
David
