I installed the plugin, activated it, entered my project ID and security code, and checked the installation. Install check said statcounter was installed on my home page, but not any other pages. That’s fine. But I see no statcounter in the footer or header. When I look at the source for the home page I see the statcounter code, but it is inserted at the end of the code, long after the footer division code has been closed. My home page is https://kellyandkellyservices.com.
I am using WP3.3.2, and BuddyPress 1.5.5. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: php coding for exclude activity, menu and groupsI would like the solution to this problem as well. If a visitor to my site has not registered, I do not want them to be able to view the list of members, the groups, the forums, or the activities of the site. I have installed Private! WordPress Access Control Manager, and Absolute Privacy plugins, and neither of them accomplish this type of restriction. I am using BuddyPress 1.5.2, bbpress 2.0.2 and WP3.3.
I am running 1.6 (bleeding) and everything seems to be working now. Should I back down to 1.5.1, or leave well enough alone?
A brief follow-up: I went in and manually deleted the “backup running” file while the “creating zip archive” icon is still rotating. That triggered the termination of the process, leaving me with both the .sql file and the .zip file in the backup directory.
Nothing was emailed to me.
The zip file is 374.28 MB, so it appears to be complete. I am downloading it now to confirm its useability for restoration (and it appears to be complete).
Thanks, Tom. I deactivated and deleted the old version of BUWP, then installed the zip file you linked to in your post (reads “1.6 Bleeding” in the plugins page).
The only modification I made to the default settings was to email me the file. I started the backup manually about 10 minutes ago and it is still “creating zip archive.” My site is pretty small, about 400Meg.
Thanks for your help.
I am having the same problem. I have deactivated the plugin, and reactivated it, same behavior. I am running WP 3.2.1 on Linux/Apache and BUWP 1.5, using Firefox 8.0 as my browser. It would be great if we could get this fixed.
