In reply to: [Tesla Login Customizer] CrashedThat’s very nice of you, but unfortunately the version of PHP on my shared webhosting is 5.5, so you are wrong.
Plus, to be honest – developers shouldn’t be forcing people to update their PHP, since the majority of WP installations are on shared webhosting and we have no way to update PHP.

My hosting provider keeps files and database backups from a week before current date. I restored those backups (assuming that this will restore the WPML tables as weel). No, I was wrong, the 9,345 images are still there…. this is bad, bad, bad product. Now I regret that I ever turned to them.

In reply to: Google SafeBrowsing warning after 2 days with installed qTranslateYes, it turned out the same – it’s some sort of server hack. We are also hosting other sites with other CMS and they’re not affected. Probably it is some combination of server & WP security holes. So, my apologies for starting such a thread, but you know the drill ??
Will keep you posted on development, if anyone is interested.

In reply to: Google SafeBrowsing warning after 2 days with installed qTranslateokay, WordPress Exploit Scanner doesn’t say ANYTHING at all…I’d expect from a piece of software to tell me that it didn’t find anything instead of just acting like nothing happened. Any other insights on how catch that thing?

In reply to: Google SafeBrowsing warning after 2 days with installed qTranslatee-sushi, thanks for your insights, but I’m rather insulted as I purchased a license for those themes from PremiumThemes.net. I will get back to them of course, and ask what is it all about. Anyway, how you realized that there are exploits, by using WordPress Exploit Scanner? How did u do that on our site? Just willing to get more help on that…
Thanks in advance.

In reply to: jquery included in WP 2.8 not workingwell, since I experienced the same problem, I decided to just replace the jQuery that comes with WordPress with the one that is called on crossSlide sample page, works like a charm. Plus this doesn’t mess with the rest of the functionality (at least for me) of WordPress.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Security Scan] Error 500 – Internal server error – on ActivationI have the same problem with 2.8 and any of the plugins that START with WP_ (wp-spamfree, wp_slimstat). I only experience that on my https://www.1and1.com server, which is weird. Don’t have the same problem with my other server. But it’s way too weird that only the plugins with wp_ in their name cause this problem…

In reply to: Paste plain text with 2.8okay…seems that this problem actually occurs with Google Chrome…so I have to use Firefox to paste text…unless this is resolved in the future.

In reply to: “Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.”As stated in the ticket:
It seems that the regular expression in reset_password like only letters and digits (wp_generate_password()’s result may contain some more characters) and clean chars from $key.
So I did the following – instead of editing my password, which was unsuccessfull, I edited the user_activation_key – just type a word, but make sure it’s something from a to z, no special characters. Then go back to your login, click Forgot password, check your email, click the link and you will be brought back to WP login, saying that it will send you a new password. Sheesh, I’m not that stupid after all ??

In reply to: “Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.”I did everything, I’ve changed my password, but the login screen still says: Incorrect password.
Funny enough: the support ticket says:
“Note on upgrade to 2.5.2 all activation keys will be cleared out, So as any current users who cannot reset their password, will be able to try again [7937]”
But how the hell we will be able to update if we’re unable to login??????
