I installed the developer version and this is the URL behind the now shown link:

8347p37 is the “picasa username” in the settings…

Ok, this is strange…. I just named it like it is in the google login/email address and now it works.

1. It was never named like this in the past and it worked
2. I’m a 100% sure, that I already tried this combination since the error occurred. Why does it work now??

In my understanding this is just a short name or an alias and does not need to be identical with the google login, … at least in the past?

I noticed something:

I cleared the wp_option settings once again. “checking user: ok – transport: curl” ist shown while the name is “undefined” (no access granted.

As soon as I change it to anything else it changes to “checking user: nok: Response code is 404 – transport: curl”.

This state is also set after I grant access then.

I double and triple checked table wp_usermeta but there is absolutely no entry related to pe2_* or anything alike. ??

Any other ideas?

Additional info:

in the meantime I found the options in wp_options. I revoked access permissions, deinstalled the plugin, deletet the pe2_* settings in the table, installed the plugin, did the settings, saved and then granted access.

No change to state… it is not working ??

I host another site with same wordpress version and same plugin installed on the same server … it’s working.

So, what’s the difference?

My wife and my neighbors wife too… they have no sense for html, coding or anything else which more complicated than adding text in word-like style. They cannot handle the new style and do not like it. Please provide a way to insert the pictures!

If there is no way to handle this I need to get a workaround or another plugin… ??

unfortunately revoking and request new access to generate the token does not help.

The selection dialog does show the pictures in the albums. But the inserted image is not shown in the text while typing.

“Insert” does not insert the picture in the text you write, but it inserts a link like this one:

If you hit “Preview” the picture is shown in the text, but it was more comfortable to have it shown while typing the text.

In the meantime I check another bloq and it shows the same behavier.

Any other ideas?

Wie gesagt, es ist ein WP.com Standard Theme und ich bin es heute zus?tzlich noch durchgegangen. In der footer.php steht vor dem </body>:

<?php wp_footer(); ?>

D.h. es ist drin. Und nun? Irgendwelche anderen Ideen?

die Antwort ist etwas zu kurz für mich ??

Ich nutze ein original WP.com Theme und meines Wissens hat das Plugin beim Einbau auch funktioniert. Wie lange und mit welchem Update von WP das nun nicht mehr tut, keine Ahnung, mir ist es heut erst aufgefallen.

Was ich im Quelltext sehe ist, wie bon fertone beschrieben, auch nur ein DIV Element:

<div class=”twoclick_social_bookmarks_post_1992 social_share_privacy clearfix”></div>

Aber egal, was ich einstelle, es wird nichts angezeigt.

Was muss ich tun, damit es wieder funktioniert?
