I can confirm Visual Composer (the latest version) works on my sites with Yoast SEO 3.3. I had to refresh cache. That’s all. It was breaking before, showing white screen of death. But deactivating cache plugin fixed it.

Do you use W3 Total Cache by any chance? I was having the same issue. So what I did was deactivate it, install Yoast 3.3 and then reactivate it. I use Visual Composer on many sites and that’s the only way I could get it to work for some reason.

Sure, wpjedi is the site. The problem is probably jQuery. I have debugged the code. The problem is upgrading the site is not easy for various reasons I am not going to get into. I have tried a couple of hacks to force the script to use the new jQuery but that hasn’t worked.

Just to follow up on this issue. Here is an update (not a direct one):

In version 2.77, these requests can be used to activate or deactivate the plugin, import and export comments, and sync comments between Disqus and a WordPress install. And without a proper nonce check, these requests can be made through the browser. I reached out to the Disqus team, and they assured me that the issue is being addressed and will hopefully patch the bug soon. If you have the Disqus plugin installed, keep your eyes out for an update in the near future.

It seems to have happened to our sites recently. We have been using W3 Total Cache on WPJEDI and other sites for a long time. Since the last update that fixed the security issue, homepage cache does not update for hours until I manually flush the cache. We have disabled homepage Page caching to get around this for now.

@e3mobile Great tip. You also have to do this for sharebar-admin though or it will break in the back-end

Mine was working prefect too for a few months. Now it says:

Thanks Daniel. You are the best. I was able to run it manually after changing the temp folder to my root address. .com/temp

But yes. The execution failed a couple of times. I actually got a few Gateway errors when running this manually which is strange on our dedicated server. The funny thing is, your plugin works flawlessly on 2 other sites on the same dedicated server with the exact settings… everything.

I have to say. Your plugin is one of the best backup plugins I have tested and I have tested many ??
