hi.
It is still not resolved however I have two different plugin devs looking into it to see if it is a plugins fault.

Neither the devs or me have been able to reproduce it and it still happens randomly
I will report back with the findings.

yes one would like to think that the multivendor plugin is at fault here but it is not, not unless it happens on TWO different vendor systems. I have used WCFM for a couple of years and this happened occassionally with wcfm as well (i did reach out to them) however, I have since then migrated to WC Vendors and the problem still persists. This has led me to believe the problem is either WOocommerce or my Dintero (which is researching this as well, however I don′t think they are able to manipulate orders? and it is correct in their logs and in their system.

So my deduction is that it is a Woocommerce problem. Does Woocommerce have a “normal” support channel that I can reach out to ?

Just got one of these (its been ok for a day or so). I can confirm that it seems to be when two orders are created at roughtly the same time, one order gets empty and the next order gets the other customers products.

I am running all the latest in regards of plugins.

The similarities are nowhere to be found

the total sums are different, different products, different amount of products. Different vendors, different customers. different times they where bought, I can′t find any pattern at all.

I did a cleanup of outdated transients, there were a lot of those, not sure if it has helped though,

sort of already tried that, I have around 1000 orders per day between 07.00 – 21.00 which mean I have got atleast 1 order/minute all day around and most intense is around 13:00-14:00. where I have several orders per minute. (not every day but many days), today I have had almost 600 orders so far.

I will try and see if I can replicate it/force it, but I doubt it.

Hi and thanks for your reply, the problem is that I don′t know when/how often this happen and because of that I can′t do the tests and can′t replicate it or force it to happen unfortunatly.

I do know that the payment gateway receives the correct information so it must happen after payment is done. The email that gets sent is also empty for the user that has empty orderinfo, and the same applies to the user that recieves “more than he/she paid for” (it reflects in the e-mail).

the underlaying cause was woocomerce 8.5.1, I downgraded to 8.4.0 and I am back in business. So something is definitely wrong with the 8.5.x versions. And yes I tried 8.5.2 as well same problem.

Wish I had found these topics before upgrading. I have the same issue, it seems to be ?“The reason it’s slow is that it is waiting for WooCommerce to validate that the payment session has the right content. This is what takes so long.” according to my payment plugin support

Anyone have a fix ?

yeah, the problem has been around longer than the newest update, i usually update around a week or two after release since there are Always interruptions. I have a high traffic site with around 20-25000 visitors a day, so can′t afford downtime more than neccessary. So far it seems that disabling the bright plugin might have helped,..havent found any other bad orders yet…

I have disabled the plugin and added this snippet, it seems to be doing the same job:

Yes, I have been using the Custom Order Status manager for a couple of months i believe, not really sure when I started using it. Could very well be the problem. But i need that to set status to complete after order are done. (otherway they are stuck in processing (i think it is called)

Have an update and perhaps a breakthrough?

I just helped a customer that had this problem, and I noticed that on this particular order it had created one order that was Completed and one that was in “Waiting for payment”, the one that was completed was empty, but had the correct price/tax and all that. the order that was in Waiting mode, it had TWO of the products the customer had orderd (not 1 line products, but 2 lines of products (same product) .

the calculated subtotal was correct, but tax and totalprice was calculated with only 1 product. I will attach some pictures soon.

First, increasing the php_post_size to 2gb seems extreme but anyway I can′t since I use cloudflare as frontend/cache and they have a hard limit at 100mb (post and file upload as far I know)

second: to let a php script continue firing for 1200s is madness, that means something is reallly wrong, a php script should be done after 60 seconds, I have used 30 seconds as my top before, but I needed some reports that needed a little longer to complete), i will consider raising to 120s max.

about the dintero, yes, I noticed that, but that is one single instance, i got roughly 1000 orders a day, if there was an general error then it would have shown more of those in the fatal log.

I have deactivated the compatibility mode, and I’ll see if that help anything.
