In reply to: [Store Locator Plus] [Plugin: Store Locator Plus] This is a premium plugin@qubestream – READ THE LISTING. You can get other plugins for free. Unlike other plugins we actually provide active support via our forums and often add features requested by our users.
If more people actually DONATED to help support development we’d go that route, but the fact is that 90% of WordPress users never donate. Our first donations based plugin never even earned enough to buy a cup of coffee for the 8 guys that work on these things every week.
How many plugins have you used? How many have you donated to?
The licensing is stated quite clearly on the installation page of the plugin details. Also you can purchase the license key & get full access in addition to being able to use all of the features as an admin user.
License
We charge a nominal fee to unlock this plugin which turns on the plugin content for your site visitors. However you can download and test this plugin for FREE without entering a license code which allows anyone logged in as an administrator on your site to see the plugin content. By charging this one-time fee we are able to provide ongoing support and maintance for the plugin.
Remember, you can still try this in admin mode at no charge. If you purchase the plugin and decide you don’t like it just let us know within 30 days and we’ll refund your purchase with no questions asked.
There are plenty of other plugins out there, if you don’t want to pay $10 to have some sort of regular updates and a real support network then don’t install this plugin. You are not required to even TRY the plugin in the first place.
For the rest of you that don’t mind paying a LITTLE something to at least have a real company read & reply to your inquiries, we’re here for you & we thank you for your support.

In reply to: [OpenID] [Plugin: OpenID] has_cap and get_bloginfo errorsDEBUG mode must be turned off to get rid of the errors.
Also look at add_options_page… the 3rd param is a number, it must be a capability string such as ‘manage_options’ with WP3.0+.

In reply to: Non-GPL pluginsGPL does not require software be given away for free.
A developer can sell a WP Plugin and still be within the terms of the GPL. If you copy and distribute it to all your friends, the developer can’t stop you (also part of the GPL). However that does NOT mean the developer has to give you the original copy for free. The can charge for the original copy of the software.
