thanks everyone. I’m going to hold off on implementing this with this plug-in until and unless the functionality is built into it properly for this specific feature.
thanks very much for the reply.
Hiroaki thanks for getting back to me. I’m confused though.
What do you mean by use default = https:// ?I’ve tried adding that line so that my template looks like this but it doesn’t work.
[post-thumb-280x225] type = textfield value = https://mywebsite.com/pathtosomeimage.jpg default = https://
can anyone tell me if I’m doing this right? or why the default value is not being set if I am doing it right?

In reply to: [Author: WP Symposium] [Plugin: WP Symposium] WordPress ProfileHow are you activating the plug-ins other than core? I don’t see them in the in-active list of plugins?
I found it. The form is in the directory of the theme you are using and the file is named shopping_cart_page.php

In reply to: [Tools for Twitter] [Plugin: Twitter Tools] Twitter Authentication FailsI decided to change hosting providers to one that I had confirmed Twitter tools works on. It is now working, although that provides no explanation as to why it stopped working on my previous host.
Obviously they could have done something to block the functionality but I can’t be sure.
I was hosted with bluehost.com

In reply to: [Tools for Twitter] [Plugin: Twitter Tools] can't seem to get it to workI am still unable to get this to work and have done all of the following.
1. disabled the plug-in, un-installed it and confirmed that the folders on my web server were deleted. Then re-installed the plug-in.
2. Deleted my registered application on dev.twitter.com/apps and confirmed when registering a new app that the settings were all configured properly and that I received a new set of consumer key/secret and access token/secret.
3. re-entered these new sets of keys into the plug-in configuration page.
I still get the error: Authentication Failed. Please check your credentials and make sure Twitter is up and running.

In reply to: [Plugin: Smart Archives Reloaded] Limit number of posts in each monthI’m currently using the fancy mode. Here is the URL so you can see what I mean by “long” page.
