Yours is the only one star review so clearly it’s not the plugin

In reply to: [Christmasify!] Best Christmas pluginThanks Dave, we’ve got another big update coming in the next couple of days too!
That’s certainly something we would consider, although maybe in order to keep them lightweight we would create a seperate plugin for each holiday
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Christmasify!] Some I18N IssuesHi Alex,
Honestly this is great, thank you!
I’ll update the plugin shortly with your changes, let me know if there’s anything else!
Thanks,

In reply to: [Christmasify!] Plugin working on every page except the homepageHmm that error would imply the Javascript for the plugin isn’t loading before its called (it runs on the load event) so I would see if any optimisation plugins are removing cf-christmasification-public.js

In reply to: [Christmasify!] Uncaught TypeError: $(…).christmasify is not a functionHi there,
Do you have WooCommerce installed? I’ve fixed the issue I think in the latest version, if you update it should now work.

In reply to: [Christmasify!] Hide on a per page basis?Hi there,
That’s a good idea; so try this if you can:
In FTP go into the plugin folder, then to includes and edit class-cf-christmasification.php
On line 169 add the following:
//Hide on WooCommerce checkout pages if ( function_exists('is_woocommerce') && ( is_cart() || is_checkout() ) ) { return TRUE; }
Let me know if it works and I’ll update the plugin with this in the near future

In reply to: [Christmasify!] has this plugin been abandoned? No it’s not been abandoned, it’s just very seasonal haha. It’s rather basic so I’m fairly confident it will work with WordPress for a long time, but we will be making a minor update in the coming weeks

In reply to: [Christmasify!] nice but has bugsThanks for your feedback. Unfortunately it’s not possible to create a plugin like this that would work on every site. If we were to increase the z-index of the elements (which would fix your snow and santa issue), then it would cause issues for most other users. It’s a similar situation for the music in that the bottom of the screen is the least intrusive place to put it for most users, but again you could fix it by making small changes to your CSS

In reply to: [Christmasify!] no functionality of the pluginHi there,
The effects are activated with Javascript and it seems there are some javascript errors on the site that may be stopping it working

In reply to: [Christmasify!] Easy to convert it to seasonal plugin?Hi expat,
Yeah sure in principle. I don’t know what you’d use instead of snow for Halloween, but the other assets could easily be replaced. Perhaps if there is enough interest this is something we can look at doing.
Kind regards,

In reply to: [Christmasify!] Problem with Christmas frames for picturesHmm, it may be to do with the images not having loaded when the JavaScript initiates. It runs a check to make sure the images are above a certain size to prevent it overlaying on icons etc., and if the images hasn’t loaded when it reaches the JavaScript event it won’t add the class.
A quick fix would be to add <div class=”christmas-frame”>[image]</div> around your images. I’ll get our developers to look into the issue though. Do you have a link we can see?
Thanks,
Adam
