Hello John. We will take a look and see if we can identify the source of the error. Do you happen to know if your hosting company is using a recent version of PHP? Our theme requires PHP5 so if you are on a version of 4 that would likely be the cause of the issue.

I’m sorry you were having issues with the theme, but I can assure you that the slider does work. Could you describe the problem you were having in a bit more detail?

Also, are you running the latest version of WordPress? Do you know if your hosting company is using a recent version of PHP?

I would first recommend updating to the latest version of WordPress and see if that resolves the issue.

iFeature is compatible with the WordPress menu system.

This is likely an issue with your WordPress install, and not specific to iFeature.

You could add a wrapper using custom CSS, or a child theme.

Try re-saving your permalinks: Settings > Permalinks.

Was this with the latest version of iFeature? You said no troublemaking plugins on, but does that mean you tried disabling all of them to see if there was an issue?

This sounds like more of an issue with the plugin rather than the theme. Quickly revert to a different theme and see if the button issue is still happening in IE8. If it is you should contact the plugin developers for support.

We are sorry you are having issues in IE, we have not been able to replicate most of the issues users are having in IE8 or IE9 because most of the time the cause is typically 3rd party plugins, not anything in our theme causing the issue.

With this said, try disabling plugins you aren’t using and see if that corrects the problem. If it is still present then temporarily disable plugins until you find the one that is causing the problem. If you do discover that the problem is a 3rd party plugin let us know and we can tell you if it is the plugin or our theme, if it is the plugin you will need to either find an alternative plugin, or contact the plugin author.

What exactly is “failing” in IE?

We support IE8-9, and have basic support for IE7.

If you could please be a bit more specific we can look into the issues you are having.
