Thanks. I’ve reported it to my webhost in case it was a hack. They said security needs to look at it before they can even try to tell me where the junk code is sitting. I’ll see if I can zip the theme up and get it to you so I can have a second pair of eyes.

Yeah that’s the code I am talking about. Most of the errors are coming from that wall of text. I checked the footer and didn’t see it but I’ll look again.

I’ve deactivated all of my plugins and nothing has changed. I still have 270+ errors and the feed does not validate.

Im concerned with the wall of junk and erroneous links. I don’t know where those are coming from.

Thanks, so… where would I find this code? I’ve looked through the files for the theme I am using and can’t find any of that. Most of those errors are complete junk…. looks like links embedded in the code of my site.

I hate to mess with phpmyadmin. I don’t have a clue what I am doing and my back end person is out with a family emergency.

If I overwrite functions.php with a clean file from a fresh install, does that pose a problem? I have two plugins that I added 2 days ago. The site was working this morning so I don’t think it’s either of those.

I have been staring at that page and troubleshooting various for the better part of an hour before posting here. I mentioned above that I checked both wp-config and the pluggable files and I see no blank spaces.

I think I meant single.php. It appears post titles aren’t clickable on single.php either. I’ll see if I can figure that part out. The wrapper part threw me off.

I love you! adding the closing tags to single.php did the trick. I suspected it was <div> but didn’t know where to look. YAY.

yes, I have single.php but often, when I make changes, they only ‘take’ if I make them to Index. php.
