My version of IE9 did not have Flash installed.

Once I installed Flash, everything works fine.

I am also having issues on IE 9.
Although this is does not apply to the shortcode plug in… The SoundCloud embed code that should be able to just be pasted into the htrml editor has an issue as well.
This site: https://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/widget suggesst adding this to the object tag:

This doesn’t work either.
