In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] custom post types won’t load rsvp blockThank you, will keep an eye out for the answer in due course.
I have checked and I can manually wend the welcome email using this method, making sure that I am using the same ‘send from’ email as for the welcome email
https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/247-sending-welcome-emails-to-users-manually-added-to-lists
and yet the scheduled welcome email does not trigger automatically.
Should I start a new thread for this issue?
Regards
No, that hasn’t fixed the problem.
Looking at the mailpoet>help>system status tab, it doesn;t look as if there any scheduled emails waiting – though I don’t really know my way around that page
It seems strange that welcome emails were working and now they aren’t.
Sorry for the multiple messages. Trying to be helpful and clear
Sorry, new information,
It might be because the ‘send from’ email fro welcome emails, was not authorised on my mailpoet account – trying to see if that resolves things
Oh dear,
While the bbpress messages now get through, the new configuration now means that the first ‘welcome email’ does not arrive. It is set (for testing purposes) to send immediately someone joins a list. It was working previously.
The emails ‘confirm your subscription’
and the notification ‘new subscriber’
do get sent and arrive successfully.@kellymetal would be very grateful for assistance in getting BOTH bbpress emails and also Mailpoet Welcome Emails to arrive.
Thank you @kellymetal that has resulted in the bbpress notification emails getting through. Is it likely ok to leave the setting that way and consider it a job done?
If you have time to explain why the notifications now get through, I would be interested to know.
The more I understand, the better I’ll be able to fix things myself in the future. hopefully..I appreciate the prompt reply that you gave, with easy to follow details.

In reply to: [Add-on Contact Form 7 – MailPoet 3] Plugin doesn’t work correctlyI have the same problem
I fill in the contact from and tick the correctly configured box for newsletter
I get a ‘please confirm’ email correctly configured
I click on that and get taken to my success page. But I am not added to mailpost as a subscriber
Some added details for clarity:
The forum plugin sends email when mailpoet is deactivated.
The email that is sent, gets through to my inboxThe forum plugin still sends email when mailpoet is activated
BUT that email does not get through to my inboxI am using the plugin ‘wp mail log’ to watch whether email is being sent
Why would activating mailpoet mean that email suddenly cannot reach my inbox?
Running WP 5.8.2
Mailpoet 3.74
