The theme is called Bridge, but it turns out it was a problem with the images that did not transfer over correctly from the previous designer. When they were trying to load in a slideshow on the home page, the login popped up. I removed the images and am now uploading new correct ones. Login is completely gone now. Thanks for your suggestions!

Thank you both for your help. I’m making some progress with this. I deactivated the plugins and the login was still there. I then changed the theme to twentysixteen and the login disappeared. So, it’s in the theme and or database. These are things I should have checked before but was so consumed with finding the code that I didn’t try them. Thank you for suggesting them. I’m sure I’ll find it now!

Here is a link to a screenshot I was able to get before the background when transparent. This is how the site is supposed to look with the white box against the blue “wings” background.

Thanks – that worked somewhat but the footer is still missing and the site should have white box from top to bottom. The site is not wide, it’s boxed and the white box is missing. The menu should have white behind it as well as the title – the whole page is boxed in. See the change here:

The white box behind the content is there now (thanks to your code) but the whole site should be white with the blue wings as the background behind the white – hopefully I’m explaining this right.
