thanks for the fast reply. No I did not have that but, I need the events to be deleted e.g. the day after the event, not 30 days later. Is this not possible?

I actived the “Event Listing -> Settings ->submission -> ‘Delete Expired listing”, but my old events are still there. Do I need to manually delete the old ones now?
