These reviews really are always difficult for me to comprehend because the main description clearly says premium only for all the features that are premium.

How would you suggest I improve the plugin description to make it more obvious that some features are only available in the premium version?

Thanks for taking the time to leave the review and you are correct, we do have a premium product that we charge for. We list the premium features on the www.remarpro.com repo main page, perhaps you missed them.

It seems like you have more of an an issue with paying for our premium product than a negative experience with WPBackItUp Community Edition(CE). Is that the case or did you run into some trouble with WPBackItUp CE?

WPBackItUp CE is available via the WordPress repo completely free and provides full backups for you. If you are proficient with WordPress and restoring databases then you should have no trouble getting your site back up and running with the backups we provide with WPBackItUp CE. The premium version is more for people that are not as technically savvy as you and may need help restoring their site. For these people we suggest premium which will automate the restore and also provides access to our incredible support team if additional help is needed.

I see this also under confirmed senders. Does this mean that one of my plugins is not using a FROM address when they send out emails?

Yes, the test works but I am not 100% sure the from email that is being used for this particular email.

I am seeing the same error and agree that is just started happening in the last week or so.

Thanks for posting the question. WPBackItUp requires the Zip Archive utility for compression. Here is a link to information and install instructions.

We have been considering adding additional compression choices but to be frank, no one has ever really asked us to support anything other than zip.

As for restore, you are correct that the one click restore options is only available in the premium plugin. However, restoring manually isn’t too difficult for someone familiar with the WordPress database and content(plugins, themes, media files) and we even have an article that walks you thought how to restore the database.
