Hi,

– I use WP 5.7.1.
– Multisite with subdirectories
– PHPv 7.3.26
– no cache plugin currently installed

I use the ENFOLD theme with the WP Classic Editor, not Gutenberg. Using the classic editor is implemented in the theme, so that a classic editor plugin is no longer necessary.

For POSTS I use this setting of the “classic editor”.
For PAGES I use the Avia Layout Builder of the theme.

The issue happens in the posts as described above.

Where can I prevent that plugin authors show me content away from my WP backend?

But I do not want to see ANY PROMO or what ever page in my WordPress backend of Pretty Links! Not once, not twice, I simply would like to see my plugins’ update/overview page and not other things that I do not want!

I use Firefox Desktop and my cache is cleared. No matter at which of my sites, every update of Pretty Links leads me to this annoying promo page (not off my site @jdembowski but away from my plugin update page).

… thanks, but then it is not GDPR ready, because it makes a connection to Instagram. Therefor cached images are needed.

@1 no, I do not have such a notification, just discovered this in the documentation!
WP 5.2.3DE, multisite with domain mapping, not network enabled, only enabled at 1 sub site.

1. It is a no-go to disable furtively activated plugins of a user by your plugin – without message, without warning. If you think your plugin causes problems with other plugins, you have to communicate that with a notification and not to disable users’ plugins.

2. “We’re getting your posts from all across www.remarpro.com.” –
it is probably because you subscribed to 1 (in words: ONE) forum’s post where we covered this topic. So not my “guilt” if you are then notified by your own subscription.

3. When 1 star is my opinion, it is my opinion here for the “free” plugin, because it is by no means an equivalent to EditFlow concerning its features. If one needs the same features, he has to pay … and the plans start with $59.
