My dropuploader field is named artist1-image-featured and I have several similarly named, just with an increased number. By what I can see in your post that should be fine. I see no other limitations mentioned on the length or number of dashes. I have no trailing spaces in the Google Sheet, but no luck on submission.

What gives?

Up until v3 it was fine.

Guys, I’ve just noticed what is cocking things up. Trailing spaces in column headers!

@westerndeal Any chance to process that before parsing data? This might catch so many users, as they are invisible.

Hi Sami,

v2.6.0 installed. Unfortunately, I get no redirections in taxonomy at all. No matter what term I use it’s using the default WP structure.

I’ve tried flushing permalinks, saving permalinks… clearing cache… to no avail.

No new entries appearing under taxonomy permalinks.

Only duplicated.

I think, it sort of works as expected, because 1) duplicate post issues a new slug with the name e.g. post-2 . 2) Your plugin just redirects it to wherever i have defined in the settings.

The problem is, because we don’t have access to the slug field, but instead to permalink field on the post, there’s no way to update the slug of the duplicated post and hence set a more meaningful url for the post.

If I understand it correctly…

But primarily, if I go to update manually the generated permalink on the post, it goes back to automatically generated.

@beccakeyes there’s a possible ugly workaround. Create a temp “non-shared” folder/file in your “My Drive” and link that to your web form to collect the responses. Then create a sheet within TD and import those responses using Google function IMPORTRANGE to get the responses in. The end users will not have the ability to edit the data and you’d best restrict editing of the whole range. Because as soon as you touch anything within the imported date it will break.

Of course you could alternatively write a script that will copy the data over to a new sheet, based on a “on change” trigger. Doable, but you certainly do not want to do it on many documents.

I’ve also found that when the /contact-form-7/includes/js/scripts.js file is getting pulled by my CDN, I’m unable to get it to work, even after purging the script. So by precluding the script to get handled by CDN in the first place I’ve resolved the issue on my site.

It’s very likely conflicting with W3Total or another plugin that adds rewrite rule to .htaccess

So far, I’ve tracked down the problem to loading the /contact-form-7/includes/js/scripts.js file via CDN. I’ve excluded the file and all is working fine again.

The issue seems to have been caused by a string variable being passed in. I found that was getting padded with by 25 chars. This in turn probably exceeded the space allowed for the default value.

So far I have identified the following:

• If I use a hard-coded email address in the shortcode, then the default value is shown in the form
• If I deactivate the plugin, whilst using a variable for the value, I can see the shortcode on the front end in plain text with the actual artist’s email address in place.
• So it is only case when it doesn’t work is…. well the way it should, i.e. pulling the value of a variable to the front end and populating the input field with it.
