since I’m already here, how many categories is admin able to create? would 100 be too many? I would have prefered if the categories for the vendors were came from Woocommerce categories.

Webkul’s WooCommerce Multi Vendor Marketplace handles this issue very well. I’m not promoting anyone’s products, I do use their products on another non WP platform but I’m not really happy with their apps… Their Woocommerce plugin is a bit skinny, but this is one feature they do well and I don’t know why other multi-vendor plugins don’t handle this feature better. I landed here because I was looking for this feature for another WP site.

in my opinion without automatic price and stock updates this plugin is impossible to use as Aliexpress products change very quickly and sometimes very dramatically. It can’t be impossible to do as all other alternatives I’m familiar with, although on another platform, all do it.

thx for the input, I really appreciate it. Maybe there’s something I’m not getting, but my concern is not with moving content, but the site database tables, and the pertinent data in WordPress’s database tables.

I tried the Duplicator and All In One WP Migration but the free versions don’t work with multi site.

just an update, I downgraded my php 7.1.? to php 7.0.? and it seems the php errors are gone.
I did the downgrade because I noticed one of the files that was causing an error was a WP file.
