  • Sorry for the typo.
    I meant:
“Top of Page” footer link does not work.
“Home” and “About” footer links do work.

    Hi,

I’m using Genesis 2.0.1 and trying to use “Top of Page” link: it does NOT work. On clicking the link, nothing happens.

However, I set up another 2 footer links (“Home” and “About”) which do work?

If it’s me, please let me know what I have got wrong. Thanks.

    Thanks very much Hakan.

Unfortunately, i encounter the same problem…

I removed the existing HW Image widget i had installed and tried to create it again but impossible to type in the “text” area.

    Sorry for the bad news.

    yes, i’m not sure, i’m not a developer ??

thanks anyway for your answers and for keeping the excellent work.
once again, to my humble opinion, your plugin is just GREAT!

    no, you perfectly understood.

i just assumed these “default” feed don’t give us any information about our subscribers. they just allow visitors to follow us via their RSS Reader, right?

the (free) service i’m currently using (obviously not Feedburner) provides me with this type of information.
if Jetpack could do so, i could have all in the same basket (email subscribers & RSS reader subscribers).

    thanks

    hi again,

may i ask you another question: does Jetpack provide us with the feed of our blog/comments?

it seems that for those who are not hosted at wordpress.com the answer is no but i prefer to check with you.

I’d like to place a chicklet for those who subscribe with an RSS reader. (i’m currently using another service for that which lets me know how many people subscribe this way).

    yes that’s very clever :-)))

    note:
i had already set my Reading Settings to show a summary but not for that purpose, only in order not to bore my subscribers in case they don’t like the first para of my last post
    ??

oh well, can’t make any mistake though…

    thanks again!

    hi debeckett,

Thank you very much for your help ??

What happens if my subscribers don’t go set their own preference for receiving updates (i’m pretty sure most of them won’t since they aren’t members of wordpress.com)?

Have you got any idea of when, more or less, Jetpack decides on its own to send updates to our subscribers?

    I understand.

Maybe some conflict, but how can I know. The plugins are used are very highly rated and most of them endorsed by the Genesis Framework developers.
    What’s more, I don’t use many plugins.

To answer your question, I didn’t check the browser’s developer console when I had all my problems. The only thing I know is that it becomes just impossible to type anything into the TinyMCE, into the text area. It seems blocked and doesn’t react.

    thanks Hakan for your reply.

i was preparing to deactivate a couple of plugins I had installed since HW Image stopped working. But before that, i decided to give HW Image another go: it works perfectly!

What’s more, 12 hours ago (from now), i had tried AGAIN to enter text but no success.

So, with all the respect for your great work (HW Image is, as far as i know, the ONLY RESPONSIVE plugin of the kind), should i conclude that HW Image behavior is somewhat unstable?

Please let me know what you think. (if you need more information about my setup – server, plugins, theme – please let me know and i’ll send you a private message wherever you want. Thanks again.
