In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Post dates are also changingHi @asjad492,
the date is changed because the WordPress function that updates the posts set the new date when it is called, I’ll check if it is possible to update a post leaving the data unchanged. If some post that doesn’t contain the renamed image is updated, there is probably a bug in Phoenix Media Rename, I’ll check in which case unnecessary post are changed.
Thank you for reporting

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] wordpress multi-site compatible plugin?Hi @wesleyj,
I confirm that Phoenix Media Rename is compatible with multi-site installations, but there can be issues with other plugins, so it is better to test the rename process on a test post with a test image.Let me know if you need more information.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Renaming multiple files not workingHi @stickypixels,
this is quite strange: the pre_get_posts action is intended to be used in frontend, I’ll try to add it to my test theme to check what happens if the function is called in the backend during the rename process and if it is possible to manage the issue in Phoenix Media Rename.Thank you for reporting.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Is the redirection plugin required?Hi @pross,
I didn’t miss the link, but the target page requires to be registered to write a message. It seems that you are part of the support team, so I try to ask you: do you think you can fix the issue on your side, using the custom action documented here https://www.eurosoftlab.com/en/phoenix-media-rename/#third-party ?
Thank you

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Is the redirection plugin required?I don’t even know if it will be possible to resolve the issue on my side, because I don’t know where Beaver Builder stores the page information and the support team doesn’t have a public email address for support questions, they accept only tickets from registered users.
I asked another user to open a ticket requesting their support to resolve the issue (Phoenix Media Rename notify other plugins when a file is renamed), but I don’t know if they are willing to cooperate.
I’ll try to resolve the issue on my side, but I don’t know if this will be possible without the help of Beaver Builder support team.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Pics are missing on front endHi @startechmarketing,
I’ve found the source of the problem: Beaver Builder doesn’t update page content when a file is renamed.I don’t know where Beaver Builder stores the page information and the support team doesn’t have a public email address for support questions, they accept only tickets from registered users.
Can you open a ticket requesting their support to resolve the issue? They can use the custom action exposed by Phoenix Media Rename (documented here: https://www.eurosoftlab.com/en/phoenix-media-rename/#third-party) to update their content when someone renames a file.
I’ll try to resolve the issue on my side, but I don’t know if this will be possible without the help of Beaver Builder support team.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Is the redirection plugin required?Hi @ronthewebguy,
the redirection plugin is not required: Phoenix Media Rename updates all the posts (standard and custom) to reflect the new filename. There can be some issue with some other plugin that prevents Phoenix Media Rename from updating the post, usually because some plugins use non-standard posts to store their data, especially visual composers.
Now I’m working on a fix for beaver builder, are you using this or another visual composer?

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Pics are missing on front endNo: if everything works, the old file is removed from the server.
It seems that some of your plugins has some compatibility issue with Phoenix Media Rename, I’m still testing your plugins to find the one that causes the issue and resolve it.
Thank you for the info.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Integration with AltText.aiI tested the integration also on php 7.4 and it worked, maybe the issue is related to a configuration, can you send me an email with your plugin configuration at [email protected] ?
If you prefer, you can add the integration on your side, using the do_rename methods, you can find the documentation here: https://www.eurosoftlab.com/en/phoenix-media-rename/#code

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Integration with AltText.aiHi @alttextai,
I tested both the bulk alt text generation and the al text generation during the upload and everything worked on my development server (WordPress 6.4.1 and php 8.0 an 8.1).I’ll test it again tomorrow (today I’m out of office) and let you know if I find some issue.
Thank you for reporting.
