In reply to: New posts not showing on BloglinesWhen I first upgraded to WP2 a few weeks ago, this happened to me too. Then magically, Bloglines started showing my stuff again. And in the meantime, I myself had done absolutely nothing to change things. Strange.
It might be worth leaving it a week or so..?

In reply to: Links for Admin only?Following on from this, I’m wondering if it’s possible to display certain links if non-admin as well as admin users are logged in?
For example, say you have a site where you yourself are the admin, and you have another user who has very low-level access, like read-only.
I’m guessing you can change the variable which in the code above says ‘admin’ == $user_login, but I don’t know what you’d change ‘admin’ to. If your lowlever user’s username is “cabbage”, say, does that mean you’d put in ‘cabbage’ instead of ‘admin’?
But would that mean that the admin user can NOT see the extra links? I guess what you’d want to do is have two variables in there, admin AND cabbage, but I don’t know how to write this in PHP …
Please forgive my dumbness here, but if anyone could help I’d be most grateful!

In reply to: How do I make photos open in side the blog template?… or else you could use Plogger as a photo gallery and integrate it into WordPress like I have? Then when you click on thumbnail pictures in posts, it goes straight through to the photo gallery and doesn’t ever leave your site template.

In reply to: WordPress as CMS for a big site?I’ve got a wordpress site that has about a hundred pages. Ordering them into child and parent pages makes a huge difference, believe me.
Also, there’s a plugin to help administer pages called “Pages+”. You can find it at https://www.adamhopkinson.co.uk/2006/01/24/pagesplus/
Hope this helps. I’d be very interested to hear how WordPress handles your “crazy number of pages”.

In reply to: how to do this kind of menu navigation? On this site that FakeStar shows us, there’s a link for “Full Archive List”, which is basically a long list of all posts made.
Can anyone tell me, is there a WordPress plugin which does this, please?
Many thanks

In reply to: How does plogger work? You’re best off reading the Plogger forums, and the documentation on https://www.plogger.org. But yes, the thumbnails are done for you. It’s absolutely briliant – try it!
