Maybe I am missing something but the backend of my site is set to Netherlands, I am in the Netherlands edit mode. qTranslate X is set to Nederlands as the default language and set in the first position in the widget. The widget is in the nav menu with a drop down option to choose either Nederlands or English. I am editing in Firefox but even entering the url in chrome starts the site up in English which I dont want.

Any advice gratefully received.

This month for the first time 1100 wp-cron hits on my site. This happened after I installed Akismet. I am researching if there is a relationship and there might be.

I am amazed there is no help for this post but then again it means we are the unlucky few who are suffering, which is a good sign for the many.

I dont have a solution for you but I will bump your post as I have the same problem. Here is my guess though.

I have errors in my code that can be fixed by validating my site. Fixing those errors one by one will cure my problem. Unfortunately cms has its files in various places. Site validation tells me my body tag isnt closed properly in that particular file. The error is on line 120. My notepad ++ tells me I have 32 lines in the document (rolleyes)

You guessed it, search time.

Edit: also for sum schmuck who only did a wee bit of html to make my own site, these new toys are blowing my mind. I mean a search function on your own site,…. that works!

Yeah, so far it has been pretty amazing. Frustrating in bits, but why should cms be different from anything else right? I just knew from the start if I kept pushing it would be worth it, and I reckon it has already been more than that!

Btw, terrific plugin, I am impressed as hell, even with this hitch. Been trying to find a solution but all the posts I am finding are from 2009, so I think we are the only ones with this issue.

Found some code to change nggallery.css but that didn’t help. I am developing https://www.art-werx.com there you can see the problem. Usually the solution is simple. Hope we find it.
