In reply to: [Airpress] API key switch to Tokensqtld
Sorry, if you have a business and the solution to your problem costs just 129 for a year and you think it is too much, you need to charge more for your service. You don’t have a business, you have a hobby. Charge your customers more and then you can afford the 129 no problems. The price you charge is whatever you want it to be and all business expenses should be recouped by your income and still leave you with a healthy profit. Stop asking others to lower their price and charge your clients more

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Aggregate JS files – breaks pretty much everything :(Thanks for getting back to me.
I tried those and it didn’t help.
I then UN-ticked the box “Add try/catch wrapping?” and it started working ??
Can’t remember why I ticked that box originally but its been that way for some time.
Anyway, all good.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Aggregate JS files – breaks pretty much everything :(Ah!
I just clicked the above link and it all works when I’m a logged in user.
It doesn’t work when I’m not logged into WP.
EDIT: because Autoptimize doesn’t run for logged in users. Not a helpful addition ??

Great information Jose, this has really helped me track down the issue!
The issue was caused by CriticalCSS (a connected service to AO) using a cached version of the mobile home page from a different staging server which had been pushed to this new environment.
I hadn’t noticed that CCSS was using a cached page from an earlier version of the site, until you suggested what the issue might be. After configuring CCSS correctly, it’s all good now ??
Really appreciate your plugin and your excellent support.
Thanks. Clearly is a caching issue.
I wonder why it works on other pages but not on home page. The cache clearly does distinguish between mobile and desktop, just not in this instance.
Thanks for the excellent support Jose.
Thanks for getting back to me Jose.
I will look into your advice and try to make progress.
You are correct that AO is not live on the home page at the moment, it has been disabled for the home page or it would not load the mobile version. This is a pre-release test site so I will enable AO on the home page again now so that you can see the issue happen.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Meta Description Not Correct in SERPSThanks for the info, I appreciate it.
So The issue is that Google don’t think my meta descriptions are relevant to the page.
Perhaps they aren’t. I’ll have a rethink on those ??Cheers
This issue was present on your own support site when talking to one of your own support representatives. I asked if it was possible to have your chat window open up only on a wordpress site where there was no user logged in. I want to use it for sales to convert vistors, i dont want my members then using it to chat to us as we have a different funnel for them once they are logged in.
She said she’d spoke to a dev who said he could do it and would need access to my site to make some changes. OK, cool. So then I was asked to click a link to raise a ticket. I did this and it opened a new browser window, with the chat still docked to the right hand side. She continued chatting to me but nothing came up on the screen, i could hear it making the alert when a message was receieved but not getting her messages. I was typing to her and had no idea if she was getting my messages or not. Also, i couldnt fill in the support form in the main page because the chat window permanently had input focus. I just gave up and closed the window, then I could see on the window underneath that her messages were present in the original chat screen and my messages hand’t gone through to her at all, she was like “hello, are you still there?”. I just abandoned it at that point , I cant be having conversations with my visitors, sending them a link and then finding them clicking on it breaks the chat.
So to test it out, use the live chat help on your own website and get the support rep to send a link to the page where you create a support ticket.
Hope this helps you
