But as I mention above, pinging with command line work perfectly for all sites youtube, vomeo, etc( except instagram). I disable the firewall.

In php.ini enable allow_url_fopen = On
Give full permission on /var/lib/php/session(don’t think that matter but I know oembed cache in db, so I try)
I reinstall cURL and made sure it was activate.

Now I truly running out of ideas.
Any ideas beside pinging and firewall or any above just shoot it would be appreciate.

I have the same issue. I disable the firewall on my server but still not embed. Did you find a solution to your issue?

There were no agressive word (or bad word)in my review. But true fact and that is why review are for. You have the right to publish or not, that is your site but if you want people to have the true you cannot only publish good review.
If I use word that I wasn’t suppose I can rewrite them but the content will be the same. So please let me know if I have to write it again or you just don’t want to publish bad review.

Hi there after changing the complete wp-content folder to 777. Now I can upload media, register and message. But plugin and notification still ask for ftp and notification just don’t work. Any more ideas, already put this to 777 I play with danger would it be other way arround this issues?

they are now on 755, I will try 775 and than 777.Is there file that I should not mess with?

I understand what you mean, Developing my site was terrible. I had to do in two languages it was hard,took time and I had to play with the buddypress core. So by the time it came to fix bp media I couldn’t event use there add on ffmpeg tool. Try there encoding, not working. I’m loosing my hair on this. Buddypress should come with media integration and I would be really happy to just have to deal with my server setup…
