We identified the issue and we will fix it ASAP. Until then, you can either revert to 3.3.2 or access the server via FTP and delete the “theme.json” file inside the “neve” folder. Thank you for reporting it!

Hi @raveaan, we found out why the issue occurs on your website. Neve is using CSS variables to control the aspect of your site. We are defining variables like –postWidth:50%, –btnPadding: 12px 24px; and so on. On your website it seems that the variables are transformed from –postWidth to –postwidth as you can see in this screenshot: https://vertis.d.pr/DIQgl3. We suspect that there is a 3rd party plugin or some unseen code that is changing those variables when minifying the CSS.
I saw that the site is still using Neve and we would love to debug it and find what exactly is causing this issue.
We don’t need access to your website, just some info about your hosting provider and what plugins you are using.

Hey @jjdg, we’re trying to identify the problem and determine if this is a bug in our theme or a problem with VoiceOver where we don’t have any control. From reading on this, it looks like they had some issues with the 15v of the VoiceOver app that might have introduced misbehavior. It would be awesome if you could test with one of the default themes from WordPress, like Twenty Twenty One, and let us know if the problems are still there.

Ok, I understand but then what shop sidebar does because is not called anywhere? From my point of view you call a sidebar that does not exist and declare a sidebar that is not used.

@marcuslange the only way I can help you is if you are willing to share with me your local data. If you agree, the easiest way is to install on your local UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin, Click on Settings after you install the plugin and generate a backup. After the backup is done, you’ll have something like this: https://prntscr.com/n6xu8y . Click on each button and download each file ( you’ll have more than one button ). Upload them on Drive or Dropbox and send me a link on my personal email. That way I can have on my local what you have and I can debug it properly.

When you deactivated the plugins did you try to see if there is the same problem ( with all the plugins deactivated ) or did you just deactivate and reactivate them back? Also, can you check that you have the last version of the theme? Are you using a child theme? Do you know what version of PHP your server have?

Any plugins that may cause this? Can you try deactivating them and see if the error persist? Also, can you tell me if there are any errors in the console? ( in Chrome, right click,inspect and there should be a Console tab )

Thanks for sharing this. A quick fix for you is to go to Appearance -> Customizer -> Appearance Settings -> Typography -> Font Size and try to change the values there, save and then change them back. Let us know if this work. We’ll update the theme and we’ll make sure that this won’t happen again.
