@hypersonic we did a bit more digging on our end to find the podcast source feed was the issue, and the feed did not validate due to those characters. The podcast is coming from Podcast People if you ever see the same issue come up again.

I was using the one from the WP RSS Website’s example for this issue.

I cleared out the one I had and loaded the one above. I deleted all of the posts and emptied the trash. Then refetched the feed. Unfortunately I’m still seeing unicode.

Thanks @bublitzcreative I am with WP Engine as well and had them add the cache exclusion specifically to the password reset URL and all is working again.

Pinging here as well, having the same issue with a client. We’re getting Invalid Key when users try to reset their passwords.

Any updates here? This is indeed very broken on 4.7.5 and up through 4.8. I tried eyleen’s suggestion but that did not work on the sites I have this plugin in place on. For a simple functionality this doesn’t seem like it should have broken with an update.

I’m having the exact same issue, quite frustratingly on a client’s site who has custom rules to make sure we don’t have redundant widgets on pages, of which we now have.

Just wanted to check in to see if there was any update on this. I see BuddyPress 2.5.2 is out and has a nice Email management area now, but not a hook/tie in with BP Registration Options.

Thanks for the quick response, I was not aware of the add-on for the NGG.

It was indeed the path that incorrect, since the site is on an instance with other WP sites, the path was not direct enough to pick it up.

Having the exact same issue. The first two are working, but Forgot Password is sending out the default plain text email from WordPress.

Any insight?

Sorry I never got back to replying, my issue ended up not being with the TinyMCE Advanced plugin but rather the WCK Content Creation Kit plugin which completely switched from TinyMCE to CKEditor.
