This is a known problem, you can’t place a toggle inside a toggle, an accordion inside an accordion or a tab module inside another tab module. The way (using js) Divi handle these module makes it impossible to mix them, as there is no way to distinguish events handler.

I never had a style issue, i guess all depend how you build your item in library and where you place the shortcode

kwigg7, can you tell me more about the problem you face ? What do you want to achieve and what’s wrong ?

Hi, if you already have my code, function name is the same inside the plugin. So you need to remove the SHOWMODULE function from functions.php before activating the plugin.

Hi, there is no class in my code, you mean if you give a class to a module inside library, style is applied to parent ? Never saw that happen. Maybe you should try by giving a css id to child then. Can you share a link ?

If the menu shortcode works when called inside a text or code module, then you can save this module to divi library, get the Divi library item id and then try to call this divi library item inside your tab using the shortcode [showmodule id=”HERE GOES THE ITEM ID”]

As this isn’t a Simple Divi Shortcode issue, it will be marked as resolved.

simple divi shortcode is a tool to pull Divi Library items by using a shortcode. Your menu item isn’t part of divi library so Simple Divi Shortcode won’t help.

I guess you have to use the fdm plugin provided shortcode but i can’t tell why you get no result inside a divi tab. Did you try the shortcode [fdm-menu id=1881] (?inside a text or code module) to see if you get any result ?
