Hi @thimpress
Thank you for your response.
Can I ask, where did you get that belief from? Perhaps I’ve got this wrong but I can’t imagine how that would be a reasonable belief.
What I’m hearing is that the duplication function is entirely redundant. From where I’m standing there is absolutely no purpose in a duplication function, without it actually duplicating everything. If I have to go through and edit each individual module after duplicating it, then I might as well just start from scratch.
As a software design principle, functions should do what they say on the can. This isn’t a complex function, or a deviation from normal usability that a user should expect from a program or system. The concept of duplication is at the very basic level of usability, like editing, or copy-pasting.

In reply to: [LearnPress - WordPress LMS Plugin] Private lessons not assignableHi @briantp It appears there is an issue with this logic.
Currently I have the course set to private and the lessons set to private, however I still cannot see the lessons from that course.
If I set the course to private but the lessons to public, I can see the lessons and add them to the course.
Hi Alexander,
Of course, I would expect to support this myself and/or with the help of an expert.
Thank you for the tips, I will look at those in future.
Can I ask, why this feature hasn’t been instantiated? It seems like something that would reduce maintenance burden of lessons. Perhaps I am a unique use-case in that regard: each of my students receives a custom learning path.
OK fantastic. Yes I need to make sure that progress on that lesson does not count towards other courses.
So in terms of the plugin, would I then simply override the requisite functions?

In reply to: [LearnPress - WordPress LMS Plugin] Private lessons not assignableoh yes of course, that actually makes sense. I suppose it would be helpful to have some kind of indication that changing those settings would give access. Perhaps listing the lessons but greyed out with “change to public to assign” would be useful.
I assume I can still make private courses?
