    It is the caching that is the problem. If I disable caching it stops.

    Hello Peter,

    I have updated to PHP7.4 and so things move a little faster. I have tried 2FA again and now I am only noticing that on my login page (Theme-My-Login) I have to hit my log in button twice to make it work. And in the console, I do not see any significant errors:

    This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”. login
    JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.3.2 jquery-migrate.min.js:2:709
    Some cookies are misusing the recommended “SameSite“ attribute 3
    init popups ? pum-site-scripts.js:7:12349
    plugin scripts activated scripts.js:6:11
    Source map error: Error: request failed with status 404
    Resource URL: https://www.mysite.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/shapely/assets/css/bootstrap.min.css?ver=5.8.2
    Source Map URL: bootstrap.min.css.map

    Cookie “enforce_policy” has been rejected because it is already expired.

    On the second hit of the Login button I get this:

    Cookie “_fbp” will be soon rejected because it has the “SameSite” attribute set to “None” or an invalid value, without the “secure” attribute. To know more about the “SameSite“ attribute, read https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Set-Cookie/SameSite fbevents.js:24:77394

    Thanks for your reply.

    1) the /xmlrpc.php file is in the root. If I run

    https://www.craigtuckerlcsw.com/wordpress/xmlrpc.php

    I get: XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

    I think this means XML-RPC is already enabled and working.

    2) I use Wordfence but I am not blocking XML-RPC with it. And when I disabled all other plugins, including Wordfence, I still could not connect with Jetpack. I do not see any rules in .htaccess for <Files “xmlrpc.php”>.

    3) I am hosting the site my self. It was working fine until the latest Jetpack update. I made no adjustments to my server. And if it was blocked by my server I do not think I should be able to access https://www.craigtuckerlcsw.com/wordpress/xmlrpc.php at all.

    Within the console when I hit the “set up jetpack” button I get this:

    /wp-json/jetpack/v4/connection/register:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
    admin.js?ver=10.3:58 Uncaught (in promise) ApiError: Unable to insert blog. Please try again or contact support. (Status 500)
    at admin.js?ver=10.3:58

    I am not sure what to do next.

    Yes it was working with 2.9.9. I have been using Peter’s Login on my website for more than 10 years. I did nothing other than update. When I updated to the newest, it failed. It was great for 10 years. No problems. But the redirect on first log in is a must for me and I had two new customers who were very confused when the redirect to my intake forms did not take place. At first I rolled back to 2.9.9 and that gave me the feature again with Peter’s code for redirect on first login. It worked again. But I cannot risk the feature dropping out again. So, I just coded in my redirects my self in functions.php and deleted the plugin.

    My site also crashed on 4.4.0 and had to be restored to 4.3.3. I am running WP 5.5 on php 7.3.

    I am one more noticing missing options in this appearance tab for label alignment. I only see top align and hide.

    Thread Starter cravaus

    (@cravaus)

    My solution given that I am trying to integrate with Gravity Forms and I am already within the server is to do this:

    <?php
    include ( "wp-load.php" );
      $args = array(
          'subject'     => 'Test API Invoice',
          'description' => 'Invoice descriptive information.',
          'type'        => 'invoice',
          'user_data'   => array(
              'user_email' => '[email protected]',
              'first_name' => 'Lary',
              'last_name'  => 'Test'
          ),
          'deposit'     => 15.99,
          'due_date'    => array(
              'month' => '09',
              'day'   => '10',
              'year'  => '2013'
          ),
          'currency'    => 'USD',
          'tax'         => 10.5,
          'tax_method'  => 'after_discount',
          'status'      => 'active',
          'discount'  => array(
              'name'   => 'Your Discount',
              'type'   => 'amount',
              'amount' => 1.20
          ),
          'items' => array(
              array(
                  'name' => 'Test item 1',
                  'description' => 'Item 1 description',
                  'quantity' => 2,
                  'price' => 2.65,
                  'tax_rate' => 1 //global 'tax' will be used in order to priority
              ),
              array(
                  'name' => 'Test item 2',
                  'description' => 'Item 2 description',
                  'quantity' => 4,
                  'price' => 3.85
              )
          ),
          'charges' => array(
              array(
                  'name' => 'Fee 1',
                  'amount' => 0.56
              ),
              array(
                  'name' => 'Fee 2',

                  'tax' => 15 //global 'tax' will be used in order to priority
              )
          )
      );

    $WPI_XMLRPC_API = new WPI_XMLRPC_API();
    $new_invoice = $WPI_XMLRPC_API->create_invoice($args);

    It does the job and I can build a function to gather the form field data from my gravity form and replace the values with variables from the form and have an invoice created. Perfect.

    Or perhaps there is a better way to generate an invoice on submit of my gravity form. Perhaps the API is not needed if I am within the same site. Are there already functions, hooks, filters, that I can use within the plug in to submit an invoice?

    Thread Starter cravaus

    I am not using a cache plugin. They break my site.

    Found the answer here: https://help.xyzscripts.com/docs/insert-php-code-snippet/faq/can-i-embed-the-php-snippet-into-my-template-file/

    What I have done is this:

    $shortcodetoadd = ‘[addthis]’;

    echo do_shortcode($shortcodetoadd);

    I have the same issue. I am using insert php to build my shortcode. How can we escape it to work in the page using the new snippet method?

    I am just working with PayPal. I have tried for weeks to get it to work. I may have missed something but I checked over the settings multiple times and started going backwards through your code trying to see how it all works. Something is not working at the end of the sandbox routine. The IPN handshake takes place. It will not do the redirect (I see that this is a common problem in the sandbox) and the callback_function is not triggered. I know that it is delivered in the array to the sandbox. Following the sequence in the console in Firefox after payment, I was not able to discern precisely what was coming back to me. That is as far as I was willing to go after weeks of no progress on my project. I could find no reason in you code for it not to work at least live.

    I then tested it live and all is well. I did a print_r on the $transaction_data to see what all I could work with there. This SPC with the call back function is a really cool feature. I wish you would have documented it a little better. Also I see that there are switches to turn off components of the shortcode template but I could not figure out how to use them. I ended up using CSS to turn off the components. I just wanted the button to show up with no form. I suppose I could have used your switches but all you have done for me in the documentation is point to the fact that the switches are there without telling me what they are or how to use them. I would have prefered using the switches and keeping my page clean. So, as a developers tool that would make me happier with WP-Invoice.

    At any rate, thanks for the program it is working well. I finished my project and all is working great!
