?hm I think maybe I have found the problem… Im using borlabs cookie plugin. New Version 3.0 you have to update via new plugin install. Delete old version and install new within zip upload. Ive got problem now: caching plugin doesnt work. Maybe you deactivate while upload borlabs 3.0. I need to check. I need to deactivate borlabs in the caching plugin. Dont know where yet… but I will ?? soon later. I think, then I check if my forms will be send with activated recaptcha[turnstile in my case] ??

I also disabled turnstile. Its a plugin working like reCAPTCHA. But is there perhaps any solution given for ContactForm7 to be able in working with recaptcha-plugins? At least I have honeypot and also a quiz, but I think it would be more safe…

Today it is working. I cannot say why. I thought it is a captcha problem. I had the plugin from cloudflare named Turnstile. It was going good, but then the problems. I deinstalled yet, but sometimes still problems. Perhaps I need to resign at turnstile dashboard. The cdn ist also still placed. Bit I actually don’t really think that’s the problem, because today my forms submit and I didn’t changed anything, no updates nothing. I use Elementor and WP Ocean.

Hi, ich habe dieselben Probleme seit einiger Zeit. Meist bei diversen Pluginaktualisierungen. Aber ohne, dass ich ein bestimmtes Plugin als Verursacher ausfindig machen konnte. Nach der Aktualisierung funktioniert es wieder eine Weile… Aber nicht lange, meist nur ein paar Stunden. Auch hilfreich ist es, wenn ich die Seite bearbeite, zwar ohne ?nderung, also ich “tue” quasi nur so. Dann aktualisiere ich wieder und es funktioniert wieder das Senden, wieder nur kurzfristig. Ich raufe mir da schon die Haare.

I even rolled CF7 back to version 5.5. Some fields now work again, but unfortunately not all. As soon as the e-mail field is declared as mandatory, the form isn’t sent despite correct content. The error message “This is a required field” then appears.
What a pity! I’m hoping for positive news now. Thank you!

I have found this answer in a similar topic:

“If it helps anyone, using the “WP Rollback” plugin to take CF7 back to version 5.5.6 seems to fix this (temporarily). That means the CF7 update to version 5.6 three weeks ago probably triggered this.
The problem is 100% reproducible for me on several sites.”

I will also try this solution once.
