Ok, I deleted the php files located in wp-content/themes/mytheme/img and now the wp editor is showing me the correct php files (in wp-content/themes/mytheme/ )and things seems fine.
Why does having php files in the img folder cause such a ruckus? I’m not sure why they were there in the first place, other than I missed something when I moved off of textpattern to wp.
