That is because your sale price is excluding tax. However in Australia the law states prices must be displayed tax inclusive. The tax then has to be stated separately on the invoice. So $15.00 inc tax. It wouldn’t be a problem except the law states prices must be displayed with tax included. When I do that it rounds up an extra cents.

Just upgraded to 1.6.2 and it still has the same tax issues.

Two $15 items with a 10% GST total up to $30.01.

Is there anything I should be look for, or is it still in the pipeline?

Blanket tax is fine by me. Australia has a flat 10% tax. My products are only needed by Australians.

That is not the case in Australia. Taxes have to appear on the receipt clearly stating the date of the purchase and the items purchased. Who purchased is not required.

It may be nice to have , but not required. Otherwise running to the shop to buy a pen could be a long process.

That’s right. towards the bottom of the taxes tab there is a form that has a local area, rate and a remove button. I click on the remove button and the area and rate are removed. I click on save and I get the error.

Just gave it a try. Still rounds up and adds one cent. So two $15.00 items becomes $30.01.

I tried $14.99 and that becomes $29.99 still rounds up an extra cent. I can see the stupid support emails I’ll be getting over one cent.

I am not sure of the reason. It appears to be in the rounding of the figures after tax is added.

I’ll see if I can integrate this into the plugin you have supplied the code for. I am also keen to have it appear on the purchase confirmation.
