In reply to: [Opening Hours] Fails to DisplayThanks for response, but I have removed your plugin and replaced it with another that works (Business Hours) so cannot now provide a screenshot.
What was happening was that in any widget area the plugin would not display the opening hours at all – just a small ‘icon’ that WP puts in place of an image file or widget it can’t display.
No matter how many settings changes I made or which widget area I put the widget I got the same response – a title and a small ‘media icon’ that signifies that the widget can’t display.
So pretty hopeless really.
I could probably load the plugin again and replicate the problem, but I have a working alternative so I don’t really want to do this.
Whatever – it needs fixing. I am using WP 3.9.1 and everything else on the site works fine.

In reply to: Site Login IssueIt was AG Custom Admin. I use this on a lot of sites, so best check them all.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Site Login IssueAllen, I suppose it may be that. We did some plugin updates on December 1st but we have been able to log in since then (I think).
I will delete some of the updated plugins sequentially and see if that gets me in.
Thanks

Thanks for the response – regrettably this is probably more coding than I want to do – I am not a PHP coder. Shame.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Cannot Load on local machineesmi,
Thanks for link. Not really any help to me to be honest as I had seen this already.
I have now manually un-installed every element of the horribly pervasive suite of programmes that were downloaded with the web-platform installer including over 1500 registry entries!!
Before doing this I had another go at installing with exactly the same results – I wrote down every password at every stage of the process and still the same inability to access localhost. Life’s too short – I am reverting to a better way..
