In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Does it work with child theme?Hi Oliver, I have played with this quite a bit an now can recreate the problem.
I held off on updating to V1.2.6 to test the previous version as well as the current version of the plug-in and can recreate the issue on both versions.
Here is what I did:
- Create a Sidebar Everywhere
- Add 2 widgets to the Sidebar
- Change theme to Seedlet
- Change theme back to Twenty Twenty-One
- At this point it appears that the sidebar is gone. Actually it still exists, but there are no widgets on the sidebar any longer.
IF this is how it is supposed to work, I can certainly live with that, however, it seems a little funky to me.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Does it work with child theme?I don’t know if I can recreate the issue or not, but I’ll give it a try. As I said, it was not a very big deal to me.
Now that I know where these settings are stored (DOH!!!) I can look at them in my mySQL DB.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Does it work with child theme?I also had the settings disappear. It happened when I temporarily changed themes and then reactivated twenty twenty-one.
I was looking for where you are storing the settings for the plug-in, but could not find them. My guess would be that reactivating the plug-in created a new file that overwrote the settings.
It was no big deal.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-One] Text and Media BlockHI @sabernhardt
YES – that easily solved the problem.
That setting is labeled for “Archive Pages”, which threw me off.
Anyway it was simple, but couldn’t have found it without you guys.
THANKS!

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty-One] Text and Media BlockUpdate: I loaded the Singlet Theme (which Twenty Twenty-One is based on) and the Text and Media block works as expected.
So I would assume that this is a problem in the theme.
Any suggestions of where to go from here?

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Add Header Image to ThemeForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Add Header Image to ThemeYes that does help. I was hoping the image would be scaled rather than cropped.
I am going the have to search for a new image. The image that wanted to reuse will no longer work.
The way the image was, the site title and site description looked much better right justified on the page. I still think the option or left, center (as it is now) or right justify is a worthy change.
I can’t decide what I want to do until I come up with a new image.
Hope that clarifies it.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Sidebar in Twenty-twenty one themeOliver, that is absolute GREAT Christmas service. We all must be just a little crazy. ??
I changed the sidebar width to 20% and am much happier with it. I see how I heel about it as time goes on, but it is easy enough to change.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Add Header Image to ThemeHi Oliver,
I have tried out the header image and seem to have a scaling issue. The image I am using is 1200 x 300 px and it appears to be scaling to s larger size.
Do you have any advice on this?
You can see it on https://rickg.org
BTW, it would be also great to be able to change the justification of the text in the header as well as be able to bold it.

In reply to: [Options for Twenty Twenty-One] Sidebar in Twenty-twenty one themeThis is a great addition. I am seeing the same thing as @justadandak with the widgets stacking to the right.
Additionally, I think it would be very beneficial to have some control of the width of the sidebar. As the plug-in adds it, it is too wide for my taste. So either an adjustment or a hint as to where in the code that the width could be edited would be great.

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] The gallery shows images from previous postsI have experienced the same problem and have reverted back to v1.3.6. v1.4.0 exhibited same problem.
While the change in settings may be a temporary solution, I would not call this issue “resolved’.
