In reply to: [Gutenberg] Missplaced paste link pop-up using keyboard shortcutHello @thelmachido ,
For sure, the previous tests were always on a maximized window so I tried reducing it. And the link popup still appears aligned to the top left corner, here’s a screenshot:
Also I’ve just realize that this issue happens when the text cursor is at the beginning of the block, but not if I do the same actions and there’s some text before it.
Hope that helps, many thanks.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Missplaced paste link pop-up using keyboard shortcutHello @zoonini and thanks for your help. Sure thing, here is a video recording:

I followed the same order as I mentioned before: writing something then using ctrl+k the popup works as expected, after that if I select and erase that text with the keyboard and press ctrl+k the popup appears just like the previous screenshot.
I’m not sure this is related to that other issue.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Missplaced paste link pop-up using keyboard shortcutThanks for your help @jordesign . Indeed both instances share some plugins along with the theme. I activated Troubleshooting Mode and tried again and the issue still happens.
The easiest way I’ve found to test is like this:
1- Write something on a new text block.
2- Delete the text with the keyboard. I use shift+home then delete.
3- Use link shortcut (ctrl+k).In fact, I’ve just realized that this is happening to me even on this forum with the new editor!
Regards,
Understood, thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Issue with Google Translate for webpagesThanks. I have tested it by disabling JS optimization and even deactivating the plugin itself and it makes no difference, which I can’t understand since the first time I did exactly the same seemed to solve the problem. Well then, I’ll keep trying with something else.
I appreciate your help.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Issue with Google Translate for webpagesThank you. For some reason I wasn’t getting that error on my browser’s console. I’ve already added the exclusion and cleared the page cache but it seems the issue is still happening to me.
Thanks @jarnovos, I didn’t think about doing that.
You are right, after deactivating Complianz the issue still remains, so I guess I’ll have to keep searching.Regards
Thanks for your help Mathieu.
I’ve just tested the same url (https://caralingroup-com.translate.goog/noticias/caralin-group-crea-nueva-division-real-estate-luxury-homes/?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=es&_x_tr_pto=wapp) again with Opera and also with Firefox, both on private browsing.
In Opera it works the same as before for me, that is, the page shows the translated text before accepting the cookies, after that, reloading the page or changing the language makes it return to the original version.
With Firefox I just get the untranslated version no matter what.
Although the page includes the translation widget, which indeed seems to be working fine, the issue itself comes when trying to make the translation through the page translate.google.com. I mean, going to that page and inserting an url.
Sorry if I did not make myself clear.
Hello @luciamarinescu,
Thanks for letting me know, I’ve just checked my page and the widget is working fine again.
Best regards
Hi @mateithemeisle,
I’ve applied the update and now the widget for Elementor is available again (yay!).
Just mentioning that I’ve checked the changelog and it says that the problem was related to lower WP versions, but in my case I’m using 5.8.Also the thumbnail issue still remains, after having a look at the console for errors it seems that the problem comes from the url link of the image, somehow the src tag isn’t correctly stripped.
Here is an example of the url parameter:
https://caralingroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/nueva-pagina-caralin-group-04.jpg%20class=attachment-large%20size-large%20wp-post-image%20alt=...
Thanks
Thanks for your reply @luciamarinescu.
Regarding the missing image issue I’ve removed the tag as suggested and now the default thumbnail (which I was getting instead of the post featured image) isn’t displayed either.
Best regards
Hi again,
I’ve tried to reach you trough the contact form but I’m not sure it’s working for me. After filling all fields and submitting, the Send button changes to Processing and stays that way, but no error message is given. That happens with two different browsers (cookies permissions granted, no adblock).
